I read the light novel for this once i read the first 5 chapters a while back and its literally PEAK!!! Omg hyunmook literally broke my heart but their relationship is so sweet tbh!! I loved the light novel it probably took me about 3 days to finish since i was pretty busy but genuinely one of the best light novels I’ve read in a bit!! Definitely a 10/10 would recommend everyone to read it!! I hope the adaptation does the novel justice but so far it seems like it will. I might leave this to marinate so i can read it all in one sitting lol!

I loved the part in the novel where yohan was asleep and they were all staring at him thinking how could he sleep with monsters surrounding him! Genuinely loved how by the end he knew who they really were but could feel no fear towards them bc he knew what they suffered involuntarily omg it rlly was such a great novel i love yohan!!

I rlly did like the novel but i rlly hate tht ppl hype up xinlu bc he def did rape yuri… yuri was completely drunk and the way xinlu talked to him abt how he didnt matter but could have sex w him was so… literally made me sad for yuri but definitely their relationship is better than in passion but xinlu is notttt all hes cracked up to be hes still a pos tbh. There’s genuinely no winning in either passion or here
