I’m not understanding how people see the name of the ship in the book and think it’s canon. Just because in the book doesn’t mean that Kaiser and Isagi are dating in fact the author probably did that to make fun of the people shipping them. I hate the ship and normally I’m very accepting. It's not really in a dating sense but a partnership in soccer. I guess people who ship Kaisagi just got really excited of the fanservice from mentioning them in the manga. It's like either the author planned for it or is actually noticing it's readers. Sometimes ships (for my understanding) is not limited to romantic relationships, but it could also be friendships, companionships, and such. But I guess there are people who view ships more in a romantic way.
