ok so.. from reading a few comments I KID YOU NOT i agree he probably wanted taesung to reclaim him again. Here’s the thing. Haebom was probably kidnapped by the red hair guy. probably bought to a brothel maybe idk for whatever reason he had. he either knows who Taesung is and has beef or he knows Haebom and plotted something evil maybe bad history WHO KNOWS? so after the brothel thing Haebom probably felt dirty and just toyed. he was able to leave and the girl who told the guy at the cafe was either an accomplice or just recognized Haebom as someone to the guy. When the flashbacks came and the words “Youd be better dead ??????” idk what came next but yeah, it probably meant that To him Haebom was dirty and practically useless instead of trying to live after the trauma, burying the events during his disappearance. he probably lied to Taesung about having a straight relationship because he wanted to start fresh and i think somehow Taesung reminded Haebom of something or someone so he chose to be distant despite everything. Haebom isnt ready to open up the events of what went down in his pov and Taesung most likely knows that he’s hiding something deeper than willingly running away to what? get a girlfriend? id beg to differ.

While I do agree the red haired guy did SOMETHING I can’t imagine the author going that extreme (hopefully) to do a brothel - but that red haired guy definitely assaulted him or assisted in it.
