Every Amon scene is either psychological horror or rape for nain like idk if there's anyone out there who actually likes the guy. I'm not even gonna talk about the identity erasure&mind rape, someone save nain bc I genuinely can't fathom where this story is heading
I can confidently say those with a deeper understanding of the story do find Amon pleasant and find Gwen a blight. Some likes both and some like none. Doppye
I did not read the novel but from what I've seen so far while Amon truly loves nain in his draconic or whatever way I'm guessing og nain couldn't handle him and wanted his old life back hence the regular mind wipe sessions. I don't mind nonhuman romance and power imbalance but it's a bit too noncon even for me because na-in is a prisoner/pleasure slave all but in name. I'd rather Gwen became a friend than a lover since that's what na-in seems to need and Gwen looks very fickle. But at the very least we got the guard guy from na-ins village keeping him company.

Yeah, Na-in definitely just needs a friend that he can just chill with! In terms the Novels, I won't go into it just in case, but Na-in is actually on par with Amon, just...something/someone is in the way.

I think I know who it is I thought na-in was a mortal-turned-god and currenyly the only thing setting him apart was amons favor/protection (considering he is a ghost of who he was and only has his core values are left from his past) but it's good to know he can stand his ground against others. Rn he's so helpless it's kinda hard to watch

Yeah...The thing that holds him back has done a number on their relationship :(
