Why does this manhwa get so much hype?
I read up until chapter 39 when it flashes back to their highschool backstory, but to me this just seems like the regular ‘ol black flag possessive story where the uke suffers endlessly because of the seme.
I see so many edits and tiktoks of this manhwa with people saying this is arguably the best thing they’ve read, but I just don’t get it? Is the backstory what makes this manhwa top tier since I haven’t continued reading? Or are those people just tweaking and are the same problematic people who enjoy the stories with rape and toxic relationships??
wow this manhwa really had ALL the different types of drama
bullying, revenge, romance, obsession, trauma psychological tension, POLITICS you name them! this was genuinely such a good binge read
I’m crine bc this manhwa was really one thing after another as soon as it gets all rainbows and sunshines again the last panel of the chapter has to be “…i didn’t realize the doomsday creeping up” ahh
how do we mark a manga/manhwa as completed when it has ended? i hate it when i read something, binge it, and then find out it’s not even completed after like 60 chaps in
it makes searching for a good read so hard because sometimes some stories ARE completed but isn’t even marked as complete!
Seme was pissing me of so much from the first chapter. I kept reading hoping that the uke might somehow fight back bcz he was rather shown as a strong omega but then suddenly it turned into a Stockholm syndrome plot and everything became sunshine and rainbows after they had a baby. The redemption arc itself is really good if we consider it a separate story but judging by what he has done to the uke...no amount of redemption can justify those actions. Uke literally became so much dependent on him to the point that he started thinking this is the only way to survive. There was no genuine love between them...the prey just got used to the actions of the abuser that it became normal for him.
The author also has another manga called “Majo no Inu” that focuses on the story of the other witch and dog familiar! Yall should check it out

idk what it is but i just cannot find a good bl lately. i’ve been dropping way more stories than i ever have been, like why does almost every one have the same boring plot with either SA or rape??!! it just ruins everything and it genuinely makes it so hard to read especially when i’m already ignoring how bad the art is (or if the art is good it’s just a waste of potential) it makes me so mad!!
