I let this marinate for a bit and how are we only at like Square two. Like she hasn’t grown as a character at all so I can’t help but feel frustrated. Also with this new development in the story, like damn why are we back at where we started. Likeeee ex husband is STILL in the picture and wants her and older brother is still tryna mess with her. I don’t know why, but for some reason I also just can’t develop that sense of protectiveness (?) with the FL that I can with other MCs in other stories. Like I hate the ex for what he’s done but why is it that he has a more interesting character than the FL (imo)???
I can’t help but wonder about the character design choices in making the FL a redhead with green eyes too. I know it’s probably to make rose have a soft spot for the FL but I can’t help but think how related she looks to the family. Of course I don’t think she’s actually related in any way, but it’s just something that I peep. I know not everyone with the same hair color is gonna be related but for manhwas you can’t help it.
it has to be definitely on purpose! richelle and edgar share the same traits and their lives is the same too. richelle suffered from his mother's greed and edgar suffered from neil's greedy ambition. the nail in the coffin is probably when rose learned about richelle's circumstances.
