will add that having all four of them in one sitting has reinforced my belief that Wooyeon has the best character writing amongst them.
He’s more complex of a character despite the parallels he has to Taegyeom simply because you actually see how responsive he is to alphas in this story as well as his thoughts where Taegyeom’s trauma felt a bit unexplored and was more used as a plot device on why he and Yoonwoo couldn’t be together. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but does make the character more simplistic to me.
Dohyun on the other hand is pretty fun as ml but it’s kinda hard to see him yearning. we know he’s the jealous type, but we really don’t see how much he actually likes Wooyeon. i’m hoping for more, but this isn’t a great start
hmm i will say i was more interested abt this couple than the one in omega complex, but the moment they decided to date was kinda anticlimactic?? like the buildup felt meh. just talking abt this now since the Omega Complex couple showed up so i felt the urge to do a bit of comparing. Omega Complex has a simple plot that’s executed well; it’s compact in that it wanted to deliver a friends to lovers romance without much other elements to focus on. whereas this one has more moving parts like mc’s bully alpha classmate and the club he’s in on top of his crush on ml. im a lot more attached to him than i was on the mc in omega complex, so i will say it’s a bit disappointing that their romantic start is lackluster. but since we still have more chapters to go i’m hoping that it’ll get better

Ughh icl i’m on chapter 17 and might have to drop this. The way the story acknowledges that Yun-Oh raped him yet the story still tries to blame Haewon and then everyone basically being like “Haewon ur just adding to his burdens” and then Yun-Oh’s just bitching every chapter. He didn’t even apologize for anything and then gets mad at Haewon for literally anything and everything. sir ur a grown ass 22 year old, and everyone just babies him for whatever reason. I really try my best to reach chapter 20 for most stories, but this story just reeks victim blaming.
