1) The fact that the little brother is playing around while he supposedly likes his cute nii-chan.

2) The fact that he fucked our cute cinnamon roll right after he had a threesome with those bitches.

3) The fact that our cute nii-san likes his little bro even though he plays around and even fucking him after that

Well, generally those kind of stories irritate me cause according to me, if someone really likes you, he won't play around (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

And in the first place if you can't get serious for your big bro, don't come live in his house while playing around and making him suffer (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸

My cute cinnamon roll, please leave your little brother and find happiness with another man, you deserve better than this (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I would agree with you if the story was completely different...i feel like we read a total different manga! the lil bro is helpless and he is drowning his pain away by having sex with other people. He does not believe he will be ever with his oniichan. It is easy to judge but try to be in his shoes for one moment and think again how slutty he is. Moreover, it seems that his oniichan is in love with him so oni does not want another better man...

I can't tell if that response was actually at me or if it was at the OP... If your response was at me: I can see how you'd feel as though that is the case (the younger brother feeling helpless and whatnot), but honestly i don't think he IS sleeping around with women because he doesn't feel as though he'll ever be with his older brother. Think about it, if the younger brother has already given up on his love then why did he ask to live with his older brother? It is made obvious that the younger brother realized his feelings for onii-chan back when they were still living with their parents because there was a gap of time where onii-chan describes the younger brother as having had "avoided" him, then some time passed and now (after having already realized his feelings back then) the younger brother is back asking to live together. Does that sound like someone who'd given up to you? Personally, i feel like my PoV makes more sense because if you love someone and know that they struggle in certain situations you try to do what you can to help them, the younger brother knows onii-chan struggles with women so to remove them from his brother's surrounding he takes them on himself and has sex with them. My point earlier when i responded to the OP was to say that the younger brother certainly DOES act like a manslut, but there might actually be a reason for it rather than it just being for the sake of being a slut.

if you want to have a story that only agrees with what you like then write one yourself, this is erotic fiction with a plot that the author was into, many editors and consultants and assistants approved of this before it was published and then gotten online, translated, and gotten to you for free, who are you to say something would be "better" if it was according to your taste?

There are way too many things I want to say to this but never mind people will be people.

I didn't realize we had a god leaving comments on mangago! Look at you making something out of nothing! The OP has every right to leave their negative impression of the manga just as you have the right to leave a comment about what you liked. If you read through the comment again you'll notice that they weren't even particularly rude either, they were just leaving constructive criticism. It is one thing if they insult the mangaka or the reader, i'd understand you responding the way you did if that was the case, but it's not and you're just being an ass. OP, if you're reading this as well just ignore KattCleo, they're being hypocritical by acting like they've never had a negative impression of a manga and left a comment describing how they felt.

Guys, relax, I didn't say i didn't like the manga. In fact i'm gonna continue reading it. It's just that I was too tired seeing the same pattern happening in so many yaoi manga and would like to share my opinion with it.

I mean, it's not logical for me to see them acting like that and suggested that it would feel more of a deep story for me if these small things were fixed. Not just for this particular manga, but every manga that has this pattern of the 3 things I indicated above.

Who doesn't love precious deep stories, am I right?! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

( ̄∇ ̄") yes you are right I did come off as a hypocrite that things they are right in everything. When it comes to people that criticize yaoi these days it's like a switch turns on in me and I end up getting angry and pissy over nothing. And it's not like I questioned their right to express their opinion, just the logic of their statement.

But you are partially wrong on one thing, I have indeed never been negative on a manga (or a book/script for that matter) because of the subjects it deals with or content, I have only judged (yaoi) manga if I think that the dialogue (or maybe the translation) were incoherent, if the story progression was in my opinion lacking, if the tone was not comprehensible, and in general the creator's skill. I have only judged skill and quality, according to my standards of course, but never content or subjects. And never have I ever pushed my own values on someone else's work of fiction. It just seems irrational to me and kind of sad for both the reader and the author, because it is a bit like you don't take the latter seriously.
Especially if we are talking about erotic fiction, which is a lot more about what turns you on and what doesn't. Of course I have a plot device or some topic or two that I cannot get into, but I have never judged an author for it, nor their audience, because I know that it is just that their tastes and values are different. It just doesn't make sense to me. It's like someone eating some peanut butter on bread and then saying that it sucks because they don't like peanut butter in general, even though any other kind of topic they would be fine with. And then they tell the person who spread the peanut butter on top of the bread and gave it to them not to use it and use.. idk, chocolate paste instead. How is this logical?!?!? (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Oh, okay. Personally, i don't really see the difference between discussing your negative impression on a manga's content as apposed to the dialogue or storytelling as both the content and dialogue/storytelling are made by the mangaka. I can't really see where you think the subjects you criticize manga on and the subjects the OP criticized this manga on aren't equal. Thank you for the response though and trying to explain the situation to me in a calm tone, most people would've been irritated that i disagreed with them and chastised them on their actions, you're very mature. hmmm... I think the difference is that you appraise skills over things that the author finds hot and wants to write about?
Let me take a book as an example. In On The Road by Jack Kerouac, even though it is actually also an autobiographical book, one of the main characters, Dean Moriarty, cheats on his wife-to-be with his ex wife even after she has agreed to sign the divorce papers, and then at night goes out with a waitress from a cafe'. So during the span of one day, he makes love for hours to his current fiance, then goes and does the same with his ex wife, without the first one knowing, and later flirts with another pretty woman and takes her home for more of that. And that's what the character is like. He is an asshole in many ways, just like Neal Cassady, the man he was based on, and we do judge him for it, but how moral or immoral his actions are have nothing to do with the author's writing skills.

The author, who is also a character in the book, is captivated by this man, and through his eyes we see what he sees in him as well. And although in the end both of them are a bunch of poor drunks who drive recklessly and fuck around and try to scream inside their heads for the madness that they see in this world, if you are going to judge this book, you will not say that it's not a good book because they don't do good things and act nice, that's beside what the author wants you to see. The subjects a piece of fiction deals with have little to do with its quality. Not nothing of course, but judging a character's actions is beside the point of what the author wants to say through the character.

Now we go to erotic fiction, comics: yaoi.
A genre of manga written mostly by women, that for the most part depict straight acting men falling in love with each other and fucking. It is all about a mangaka's fantasies, what they think is hot to think about. What turns them on.
So, how come with a book like On The Road people never complain about the main character being an asshole and understand that this is intentional, and that pointing it out is not the point, and yet when someone makes a manga about something that has to do with their instincts and sexuality even more, and make it even more personal basically, fans go on a freakout session if they deem it immoral? Isn't looking for morals beside the point in erotic fiction? Isn't it completely then a matter of taste? So then the thing I get mad about is, why find something "wrong" about what the author found a "turn on" enough to make a yaoi out of? Isn't it really disrespectful to find things in terms of subject content to bitch about because it's not your thing when in a "serious" book no one does that?

I'm sure it's because the yaoi fanbase can be quite young and non understanding of such things a lot of the time, which I also have a problem with tbh, but seeing people complain and chastise each other for the things that they like to see in a comic about dudes fucking that's written by straight women just pisses me off. The world is becoming so conservative these days it's crazy.
People act like an author is writing about their own fantasies and they have to "fix" their work, suggest things to make it "better". How do you do that when all the things you suggest have nothing to do with the quality of what you get but about the topics that the author liked? So many editors and friends already gave them their opinion and now a 15 year old girl on the internet is growing up thinking that if she finds incestuous relationships between two brothers "not realistic" or "gross", or a character not facing the situation head on and "being a slut", it's important and has a lot to do with anyone else except from her. It is another thing to say "this isn't my thing" than the reactions you see under yaoi manga these days.

Also, thanks for calling me mature hahah, but as you can see from this monster of a text, if I have a firm opinion, I am stubborn as fuck, so Idk if it's a correct term for me lol ( ̄∇ ̄")

All of this is besides the point though... your entire point here is to say to judge the characters or their action as apposed to saying the book is bad and judging the book itself as a whole, the OP never did this, as a matter of fact they pointed out things IN THE MANGA (said nothing about the manga as a whole) that they thought they didn't like personally. You're telling them to do something they are already doing and you're the one making a big deal out of it as i pointed out earlier.

geh. This isn't about the op though..? I already talked with them this has little to do with what they said. I was just explaining my point of view on the matter TO YOU because you said you don't see the difference between the two ways of viewing a piece of work/fiction.

I was talking (or typing lol) to you, not to the op, this is a conversation between us two, not me and the op's bodyguard or something. And I do think it's a big deal that this is something that you see all the time these days actually.

If you find what I am trying to explain still incomprehensible or irrational though then I back off. By now to me it just looks like you don't wanna make an argument back, probably because you got tired of this, (makes sense... ( ̄∇ ̄") ), so I'll stop here.

Can't say I really liked the seme x seme and them ending up together looked forced...It should have shown more slow bonding between them to turn out good, at least for me.
