No. Did Yuri's love forced Xinlu into suffering, pain, trauma, No. Was Yuri's love forceful, damaging, obsessive, possessive, predatory.. No. Xinlu is not being manipulated, not coerced, not controlled. Sure it's weird to living folks like us but the way of love for Yuri is very different from others and that is exactly what the author try to show us.
