Soooo…. I still don’t like the mc but I’m looking at the ml differently cause his character drastically changes a lot throughout the story
There’s a lot of foreshadowing and metaphors in the first part of the story. Rereading it also made me approach the read differently.
I excepted as most did (the first time around) in the series. ML is toxic trash, mc falls in love with said asshole, mc gets treated badly, mc dips, ml loses it and goes on chase arc.
I know what’s coming so it’s making me see the characters differently. Even the mc… he’s so fucking annoying but he seems less like a pushover now that I’m rereading.
To be fair he still is a pushover and it just gets worse but damn.
I’d say, if you’ve read the story only once. Read it again cause it differently gives you a different view of the characters.
And like last time, I’d love to have a story about Mr. Cha and Mr. Kim I ship them so hard it makes me angry that the story isn’t about them.

I was worried that Bum would be less and less stalker-y
I’m glad he stayed as an obsessive creep.
Serial killer stories are so complicated. Cause yeah you get some people that are just naturally evil without outside influences or causes. But then there’s stuff like this, where it’s so obvious Sungwoo was suffering from either bipolar disorder or depression or both. Similarly to his mother.
He definitely got dealt the worst hand in life. I don’t get why his dad just didn’t take him away from his mother or try to have her hospitalized after what I’m assuming wasn’t her first attempt in killing her son.
If he had gotten help as a child, things wouldn’t have been this bad.
Either way, he deserved the death he got. Cause in the end he made those bad decisions. He didn’t have to, he could have sought out help (not that he would have considering how he was raised).
But yeah he didn’t.
I’m done rambling, if you made it this far let’s be friends (▰˘◡˘▰)
