I honestly really liked the story and the characters but it felt like the actual romance was rushed. I mean usually it is in smutty stories like this but there was literally no moments before the climax of the story lol

Having to be dependent on someone when you have a disorder is the worst feeling ever. I get the uke’s fear of being left behind or being taken care of cause people feel bad for you.
The majority of the story was unsettling for me but the author really nailed that fear for the uke. It was giving me anxiety seeing him freak out :/

This is the first yaoi I read that brought me back on the scene. I saw pictures of it online and at the time I was on a big cowboy kick and I had read Yaoi in the past so I was like “why not??”

You should absolutely read this! I think at around chapter 20, the plot hasn't really started going, but just after that it starts to get interesting. I really like this series, but it is super plot heavy, even if there is a lot of smut too :D
Couple of pointers tho;
-The censured version is super hard to keep up with, because a lot of relevant plot happens while they're boning
-A lot of the harder lawyery/corporate stuff gets explained a couple of times, so even if you're a bit lost, just keep going
-It has heavy topics, but the relationship is actually kinda sweet!

Glad that you decided to read it(≧∀≦) I've seen that this manga has REALLY mixed reviews, but to me its very addicting plot and romance-wise! It has the same vibes as Payback, but very different characters!
