And as others have said they’ve been altering his memories, there’s a deal that Dragon boy made with the Priest that is in charge of the ritual- idk what the deal is cause again haven’t caught up but Fanboy and Popo do remind him of stuff when he’s in his recovery period because the ritual is literally poison (hence the masks they wear) so I think it’s clear that Nain isn’t completely human or he was made immortal
