You do realize that Horus was being CONTROLLED when he r@ped Seth, right? And Seth was about to r@pe Horus right before that. FG literally r@ped him and made him his slave. The part where Seth climbed on Horus' bed was part of the original myth to show his "dominance" on his opponent to humiliate Horus.

Babe literally everyone in this story wants to do something with Seth and it is all shown wrong. Even nepthys and isis hurt him. Everyone literally failed him, that's like the fucking theme. I don't think it occurred to him that dominating an unconsenting Horus is wrong since this was the Seth that did all those atrocious things after all.

You could also interpret this as him taking revenge on his brother's son by raping/ dominating him after his brother "emasculated" / ruined his pride as a man that he got raped by his brother. Seth after all is prideful and he's the last person to be thinking about how he harms others.

Yes I see, thank you for going deeper into it I do agree that he was definitely driven by the great need to cling onto the only security (power) he had, as that was all he felt was keeping him protected from people like Osiris who would want to harm him. As for seth nephtys they were doomed and tragic from the very beginning. Did u never comprehend the part where Osiris admits to setting them up for marriage for his grand plans? How his continuous experiments on seth breaks his soul and he needed nephtys to patch him again n again thus having them married for convience sake and also to keep seth trapped and bounded by " family" for seth whos entire existence and reality has been manipulated by osiris horus was the key to his freedom. Freedom to choose who to love freedom to be what he wanted to be and express his truest feelings. He never wanted to be god of war but was he ever able to admit that to neph like he did to horus? Neph loved him but she never loved his true self she loved her "husband" and her "brother". Only horus knows seth and accepts him with all his flaws n wrongs. The misuse of larping is so funny lmao. Crazy how so many people are defending Horus, that dude is so fucking pushy and no one bats an eye. Seth did all of that in the start because he was afraid of Osiris and the thought of being weak terrified him. I never defended Os*ris and never wil, that bald headed demon can suffer all he wants but Horus is not that great and amazing as you all paint him to be and out of everyone Nephthys is the only healthy option, whereas Horus is quite literally obsessed to the point it's not healthy.

What i also forgot to add that the author has this really strange obsession with drawing Seth getting raped every chapter and not gonna lie, Ennead would be better as an action type of manhwa instead of bl because Seth's love towards Horus, in MY opinion, feels forced.

No ones defending horus. I stated multiple times that he is not without flaws. He's also as complicated as seth and one of his biggest drawback is being pushy n relying wayy too much on his instincts. Her love was genuine but it was still diff and no less twisted. And ljke I sajd their entire marriage altho was happily shortlived, was a farce set up by osiris. Hmm I would he say is a bit manipulative. On his own words "I wanted to make sure he has no place to go back to" when they broke up (situationship). He lied about the thing with Nephthys and hide it from Seth. He was also very mean to Anubis, sure he gave him both options but it felt like he wanted Anubis gone in Seth's life just cause he is jealous that Anubis is closer to Seth. There are some scenes that sometimes I think Horus is like the mini version of Osiris when he acts somewhat possessive and obsessive. But I guess that's a stretch.

Also Seth and Nephthys, I kinda already forgot, but if iirc they did love each other but it's already soiled. It's understandable why her love for him changed. As for Horus yea he loves Seth so deeply even with all the atrocities he did. You could even say it's almost like blind love. Atleast Anubis acknowledged the mistakes of his father and he was willing to forgive and move on and still love him. (But I don't want to see romantic shit happening between them, hope the author keep it family friendly lol)

Horus love for Seth kinda doesnt make sense to me. Imagine being hunted all your life, your mother suffered a lot, your father was killed, lots of humans die, yet just one look at the enemy, just one gaze is what it took for him to fall in love. That's why I think the Horus elder theory is true, cause it doesn't make sense for Horus to be this in love and obsessively devoted towards Seth at a very young age. Once he was born he is already seeking Seth. There must be other reason and I think that in their past lives they are lovers.

He could see his soul n upon it etched he found profound loneliness and devastating agony and longing. This really shifted his pov towards seth who he had known as his enemy since his infancy.also he grew up in ruins of his mother's temples where he saw n read hieroglyphics and murals of Seth's heroic deeds, ennead siblings relations and tales. He had already cultivated a growing curiosity towards seth and seeing just how tender, caring and vulnerable he could be horus fell in love.

Also if horus the elder theory proves true then itll make sense for kid horus to fall for seth even more. Thoth had remarked previously that both horus n seth are incomplete..

Its more like as a volatile mentally unstable person after millenia of ptsd harassment torture having everything shattered n ripped away violently, it was first time for seth to feel genuine happiness n relax with someone he had chosen HIMSELF without any form of external manipulation and right after baring his feelings out he gets hit with shocking relavations from hathor that shakes his trust which is obv a fragile thing. If u re read the chapter u can see how devastated he was thinking horus love was fake. His eyes were empty and as a means of cope he chose to escape reality by seeking refuge in nephyths who he just realised had not betrayed him intentionally. These drastic actions of his come from a place of deep insecurities and self hatred rooted by osiris grooming. Seth thinks the worst of himself n believes he doesnt deserve love which is why he was so easily convinced by hathor and it didnt help that horus had kept things hidden. It was like cherry on top n seth flipped out hard.
