I don’t usually read suspense so ch 21 was super impressive: so many intricate layers. Also, both the artwork and dialogue continue to mesh together seamlessly.

I LOVE THIS SERIES… IT’S IN MY TOP MANHWAS, along w/Dangerous Convenience Store; Even If You Don’t Love Me; Mayday, Mayday, Mayday; Sweet Spot.
Ch 51 made me think — of the series’ author 흑살구 Heuksalgu or “Black Apricot” — of the 1990 Nine Inch Nails song "Head Like a Hole.”
In particular, I was thinking of the refrain:
"Bow down before the one you serve.
You're going to get what you deserve.”
The first sentence directly refers to author/illustrator Black Apricot as I’m in awe of how black & white drawings and minimal dialogue could speak volumes. Black Apricot’s mastery is overwhelming & I can’t get enough of Soo-Young, Tae-Seung, & now Min-Hyuk.
Meanwhile, both verses apply to Tae-Seung as he just exudes grim power. His deadly-calm focus on locating Soo-Young was chilling but also touching. There was definitely a “You just messed with the wrong guy” vibe. Again, all this from one manhwa chapter…thank you, author/illustrator Black Apricot! I bow my head in respect!
