We all know Jiji is super strong and be impervious to physical attacks when he switches form to evil eye so… what’s he doing? Swimming in the belly? His instinct should be screaming to protect moms who lost her memories and powers. Author Kun better give a good enough explanation other than just making way for okarun … it’s hard to believe after how he fought against the count huh..

I see everyone hating this situation to the heavens but unpopular opinion - *this was needed to push okarun to confess CONFESS.*
I know he has already “confessed” but he crumbled immediately after be questioned and though he tries his hardest to try to prove it, (using his clumsy inept way of a staring contest to force momo to go on a date with him), his socially inept ass and floundering ways are still not enough to convince the hardcore amnesiac Momo.

Not to mention that there is Aira there making amnesiac Momo more confused, but Aira is also a needed push for okarun to understand matters of a relationship between girls and guys. He can’t start a relationship with Momo while being completely dense about Aira’s
feelings and letting her take inch after inch. It’s not the first time.


But as someone who spent most of his life being socially inept, Okarun’s improvements have already been massive and I don’t expect him to suddenly be able to do everything right.

Side note while I know jiji probably ain’t ML but I still enjoy watching my good boy jiji respectfully care for Momo. Sure, it’s because he likes her, but the holding hand gesture is more to give her comfort in all sense. Because he continues to do that after, prioritising her well being without making her feel uncomfortable by sending chi in another way. Good boy jiji, I’ll date you! (=・ω・=)
