Prediction: I've read ALOT of these type of stories. Mc mental health is going to decline and he's going to give up. Ml finally let's him so he'll get better. Mc thinks about everything and still misses ml so goes back and they finally talk and mc admits his feelings. For the first time he willingly has sex and they stay together with not much change to ml character.

I agree it’s a total train wreck that I can’t seem to look away from. I’ve been invested since the beginning and now I just can’t seem to stop.
