woah i just read this earlier this morning and somehow i already caught up to the latest chapter this manhwa is actually insane. i didn’t expect to get this invested in it this fast but every chapter just keeps pulling me in more. and honestly, i never thought the creator of dangerous convenience store would make something like this. this feels like such a huge level up. everything just feels so much more intense and psychological. things are getting really interesting now.
i don’t know if it’s just me but i genuinely feel like jinwoo has some kind of psychological disorder or at least severe trauma because of the way he’s been acting lately. especially with the sleepwalking and how disconnected he seems sometimes. even from the beginning, like that intro where his head was wrapped up or something, it already felt like there were hints that something was seriously wrong with him mentally. his memories definitely don’t feel reliable at all.
• why i don’t think guwon is fully the reason:
- if you go back to chapter 0, jinwoo was already paranoid even before things got deeper between them. after hearing all those things about guwon, it feels like his fear just got worse and worse. but because he’s already mentally unstable and struggling with memory loss, i feel like his reactions are more psychological than rational sometimes. like his mind is making everything feel more terrifying because he’s scared and confused.
• the father situation
- i really feel like his father leaving affected him more than the story has shown so far. whether his father abandoned him or died, either way that kind of trauma can seriously mess someone up emotionally. i feel like that’s one of the reasons why jinwoo feels so emotionally unstable now.

no matter how long this manhua gets, i’ll never get tired of reading it. it’s really one of my roots and comfort reads. i’ve been with it for a long time and it always gives me that familiar feeling. it’s been such a ride, and i’ll always come back to it no matter what
is it just me, or is the art style so well done that i genuinely thought i was reading a manhua at first there’s a certain familiarity to it—clean, composed, and effortlessly immersive, like the ones i used to binge before. lowkey had me double checking what i opened.
the story holds up just as well. everything feels intentional, nothing out of place. but this latest chapter marks a shift. it doesn’t feel like build-up anymore—the plotting phase is done, and now things are actually unfolding. (I JUST HIT THE JACKPOT )

the manhwa was already done. it had a proper ending—everything was wrapped up, it felt complete, and it actually gave readers a sense of peace. it wasn’t lacking anything. it didn’t need more.
so why bring it back months later like nothing was ever concluded?
it doesn’t feel like a real continuation. it feels forced, like they just decided to reopen a finished story for the sake of adding more conflict. and now that original ending doesn’t even feel the same anymore. it lost its weight.
bringing it back like this just ruins what was
already enough.
it should’ve stayed finished.
