I never understood why misaki chose to become a manga editor… he has amazing skills in cooking according to anyone who tries his food, and they always talk about misakis
Passion for cooking so when he suddenly decided to be a manga editor it caught me off guard…
I sort of understand in a practical sense. I mean, from what I understand cooking is Misaki's passion and hobby, and while he's fucking great at it, that doesn't translate to job skills. Not to mention there's a ton of people who prefer to keep their jobs and hobbies completely separate as to not kill the passion of their hobby. However, I do think narratively it probably? Would've made more sense if he pursued that but I kinda prefer to think of it as Misaki's being a multi-dimensional character.
I understand where that’s coming from, I just think him being a mang editor was a little random lmao
But not only that I think (if I remember correctly I have a bad memory lol) but he did express once to usagi that he wouldn’t mind being a hotel manager,
I don’t mind him becoming an editor btw I just think they should have introduced us to the idea of misaki being a manga editor a bit more than just “I love ‘the kan‘ a lot so I’ll become a manga editor from now on”
And then going on to being like “the kan isn’t the only reason I wanna be an editor….. I’ve always like manga?”
I agree. The only thing I can think is that when he was offered a full time position, was that the money and company was a good offer. And since he is so conscious of his financial situation and always wanted to repay his brother's support of him, it was a pretty natural step to take. . He is also good at it, and so he seems to enjoy it.
yea I feel like Misaki didn't have any job preference he was just doing the manga editor job as a part-time job at first and i think he went with it cause they offered him a full-time position and he enjoyed it - not necessarily because it was his dream job or anything.
that's how it usually works in reality too so i get it. you can have a dream job but if your get a good job opportunity and it's something you enjoy - even if its not your dream job - then take that job and live a life of success and happiness instead of struggling to TRY to do something you may or may not succeed in...

THAT is so true.
i think y’all misunderstand Karino…. He was protecting Azusa most of the time, or did y’all not see what they did to taisho (w.e his name was sorry I forget) brother???
I never understand why there always has to be “it started with rape” element to it but it does and all of us went in knowing that since it happened literally in the beginning.
Trying to scream “I hate him for doing it” but you went on and read is ridiculous and hypocritical……
Anyways asumu had every right to have a “victim mentality” as he was very much a victim of the game as well….
The story was good I loved it, it was interesting and the subtle character developments are always my fav.
I’m a bit sad tho to see that karino and Azusa weren’t officially dating and just labeled it as hooking up :/ I hope to see more of every couple except eno and his partner ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ (Yeah he got hurt and a tiny part of me feels for him, but he hurt so many people WAY worse and didn’t feel as bad as he should’ve……)
He wasn't protecting Azusa he was manipulating the situation to make it seem that way. Raping Azusa personally instead of letting him get gang banged is protection? Get real. How is calling out a characters actions hypocritical if you've read the whole thing?? Go read a dictionary, or a bible cuz holy fuck you're weird.
Jaekyung starting to look a little green now ain’t he?
