The weeb inside me is crying so let me clear this up for y'all. The OFFICIAL kissanime site is gone. It's domains were: .com, .ru, and .to. Kissmanga, kisscartoon, and kissasian are all also gone. The sites currently up under those names are not the OG sites that have been around forever (well, not anymore lol).

I live in an extremely multicultural suburb, and watching anime was never an issue in high school. Probably because of how diverse my school was (more brown and black folks), many of us grew up watching it.
