What a gem! It's a shame the translations aren't higher quality. Siana is a fantastic main character. She's personable and likeable, and very resilient despite her upbringing. She's fiercely kind and loyal while calculating and realistic. I like the depth to her character as well as Aris, wonder how they'll develop the main lead going forward...
Just binged this after watching the anime. The manga is lucky that the characters are likeable, lol! The world building is awful - you would think that a dystopian based story would provide more insight into the setting, but they ditched that idea entirely and focused on the characters and character development. It's entertaining as hell though so I'm not complaining
I had to agree.. with all destructions happening eversince Meireki(?)era (orbefore that) how can human have an advancement in technology and infrastructure.. The world building was lacking but the characters are great!

No insight into kaiju either (where they come from, different types, regional influences). I have to shove my questions down and read for vibes LOL
I guess World Trigger's world background is more extensive compairing to this.. Even JJK's world building is quite lacking, they mentioned Africa's presense of curses but not much on other Asian countries.. even the prestigious family clans were just mentioned.. I kinda wish that JJK was more of a lore manga than an action/fight manga.. lol
I agree with the brother. I’m not a fan of stories where the MC is a damsel in distress and can’t escape situations without assistance from a ML, but I also don’t prefer it when the MC does all the saving. I hope the Duke recognizes the authority and power that comes with his name and becomes comfortable utilizing it. Being a teddy bear is fine but being a doormat is not.
I didn’t mind Rohan being nonchalant, his steadfast faith and strength as well as being generally likeable and good with children seemed to be a good match with the MC, until he pointed a SWORD at her throat. Like omg? Vledmir seems to be ML but he seems too rash and impatient…acts more on impulse and idk if that’s what our empress deserves

I saw some spoilers about him, that trifling little bitch, I thought he was the ML for a while
I love the story but that was a horrible season 2 conclusion. There was no climax leading up to this specific scene and having the MC portray himself as if he’s going to hurt the other hunters when we know he won’t was corny asf. But based on the author’s apology at the end I’m assuming there were reasons outside of their control for ending the season here.
I love this arc and I think it's been well-paced so far. If it were any shorter we would miss out on the character development the sect collectively experienced. Plus, Chung Myung's been cold asf all arc lmao.
Well...the spoilers have successfully ruined this for me. I mean seriously, wtf type of ending is that? They fight to the death and she begs the god to bring him back as an undead so they could fight for eternity? Excuse me? Whomstve the fuck? What a deeply unserious story.
And it's a shame because the art is quite pretty and so far the story hasn't been disappointing (apart from the obvious toxicity but that's what we're here for).

As our MC regressed in the end, I think it was safe to assume the dragons did turn their back on Aedi and became enemies that kill the team. Like even when the ice dragon starts rampaging, Aedi insisted he could talk and calm her down, until the very end.
Maybe later we’ll see “it’s become the main reason humanity failed in the past” or something along the line..
agreed...plus we can see from how the blue dragon can lost her consciousness we can also assume all dragon can be reduce to that state by the demon god worshippers and gone berserk
I love that each daughter has their own distinct personalities and struggles! Mildred’s role is done very well - her role as mother never overpowers her status as main character. The creator kept her individuality despite the family setting. All the main leads have personality and are quite likeable. I just wish Ashley received the same attention as Lily and Iris - her story is quite underdeveloped compared to the other two sisters.
Ashley having no attention is the best curveball about this story, because you'd usually expect *her* to be at the center of it all. But I am optimistic that her time to shine will come, I've still yet to see a worthy man who can be her pair, and at this point I'm starting to doubt if there will be romance for her at all. Maybe she'll reform society in her own way.
But yes! Mildred is so wise I am so in love with her
