The comedic timing and art are both really good, but the MC is much too stupid for me to enjoy this. She broods over the dumbest situations that can be resolved with communication. Why was she stressing over the clock tower situation as if her dumb self couldn't just tell the ML that she wanted to go somewhere else? I would understand if she recently reincarnated, but she literally grew up with him...which, not to mention, is really disgusting. It's disgusting to have them grow up together, have everyone acknowledge them as being siblings, just to set them both up. There are better stories to waste time on...

Omg the shenanigans from this arc are hilarious! I love that this has a nice touch of school life alongside all the fantasy and action. It’s a nice break but hopefully we re-pivot to the ranking aspect soon. Shirone’s goal is to be the best and the magic school is only the tip of the iceberg. I wonder how he compares to an actual high level mage?

I love this story and I'll continue reading it, but based on the spoilers, it just seems like Edith is constantly fighting for her life and isn't really able to get a one-up on the antagonists. I get the story's premise and the fact that the characters' actions can be attributed to the author's hold over the story, but it's a little...lame (for lack of better words) to have the MC consistently react to situations as they come along.

It's my third time trying to reread this and I could never remember why I kept dropping this - its because the main character is insufferably naive and oblivious. She's written like she has no concept of social interactions - the male lead can flat out threaten someone and she'll completely write it off like an idiot. There's no charm to this story at all...it's boring and shallow. The MC being oblivious isn't a bad trope if done correctly. Moreover, what the heck is the appeal with a ML who's willing to manipulate the MC only while continuing to be a piece of shit to everyone else?

It's interesting that the 2nd prince, who was introduced first, ended up being not the first nor second ML, but the third ML Lol. Kasia had more chemistry with Luke (maybe even Swindell) than she did with the prince. The story was a cute read with a happy ending, but it's pretty mediocre. Despite the setting taking place on a large scale (a country's war), the worldbuilding and character development is very shallow.

I actually wanted Luke to be with my babe kasia

I absolutely agree with you and I feel like it's such a shame because there were a lot of themes and ideas in this that could have really been interesting. And although a lot of it is mediocre like the randomness and odd pacing of it all, I'm just happy that our male lead is not the crown Prince. It really is such a shame though because I feel like it started off strong but where it all really started to go downhill is when kasia comes back and all the sudden the crown Prince is like all over her for no reason. I really wish the story could have taken a more serious tone like "the venleness must die". I'm unsure if that's the correct name but it's the one where the main chick has black hair green eyes and actually wants to go back to her original world throughout the entire thing and I believe it's completed. Anyways this could have definitely had a lot more psychological Aspects and really have been great but it was still nice and at least there wasn't anything too stupid.

Omg this is such a frustrating read! I can't handle this stress every week - I'm coming back once chapters accumulate Lol

Roy thinks the MC is intelligent and reasonable… He’s in for a ride Lol

Y'all are annoying for misinterpreting the story without considering context... Ashtarte and Rion's meeting was lifechanging for the both of them - they each experienced loneliness and deprivation and were able to connect through those feelings. Rion was the one who helped Ashtarte acknowledge her family's cowardice and accept the people closest to her as family. She's still a very sheltered princess but it's not fair to write off the character growth she's experienced. Not to mention, Rion was the first person Ashtarte trusted outside of her immediate retainers/family. He's the only one outside of that circle who gets the first name treatment, and Ashtarte being concerned about his feelings in regard to Isaiah's request makes sense.

I have not read this manhwa, but I'm going to agree with you just because your comment sounds like a based take. I'm gonna check back in a few days (or months, lol, I don't have commitment to OI's) when I catch up to see if i still agree with you.

It was a great read, but I'm not a fan of how the story tried to make Shiori and Tora's sister's situations seem...heartwarming? Am I supposed to feel pity for Shiori's parents after they drove her to do what she did? And Tora's sister's entire life was spent taking care of others. Their lifestyles make sense considering the time period they're in, but I wish the mangaka didn't downplay how awful their situations were solely because of their gender.

    remmiiii July 12, 2021 11:07 am

because it is heartwarming. Wether there was any play of women not being able to do what they do during that time, Tora's sister and his wife specifically wanted a peaceful life with their kids. Everyones situation was awful and ofcourse the mangaka especially didn't downplay the situation of tora's sister chose to take care of CHILDREN AND FAMILY specifically. Idk if you read the story entirely but her job in the town is also serving as a midwife. Her goal was for everyone in the story to realize that children's upbringing is important and that's also why she regret but at the same time know that its a good thing to take apart Tora from their mother. TORA'S sister's whole life wasn't just spent taking care of others. Her mission was always to give importance on why caring for one another is important.

I enjoyed it up until the part with the twins' issue. Why was Damian the one who had to reach out to Dylan and speak to him when HE was the victim? Dylan wasn't there for Damian when he was literally being accused of a crime. Idk if I'm being sensitive, but that shit is unforgivable. Ruined the rest of the mood of the story for me.

I thought I was the only one thinking this and the thing with his mom ugh they pissed me off Damian deserves better
