I wonder how the story's gonna go from here. The usual would be a new purpose and recovery, maybe he can be open and show his scars and reveal his past? Since we havent opened that can of worms yet.
Maybe he could divorce her and then she recovers in a distant town/country where they dont know her heritage?

But at this point she wont care about anything

The unusual way would be her getting a new romantic interest or a good friend and leaving ml. Or that she actually goes through and successfully kills herself. But dang we not even at ch 20 yet.

This is the first time i actually dont want the husband and wife's relationship to get better.
Their relationship didn't sour because of misunderstandings or betrayals, there was no relationship to begin with.

Honestly, I think the husband is gonna do all he can for the FL but she's gonna leave him in the end.

The tag does say romance but I genuinely can't see where the romance can come from, maybe 1-2 chapters where they show the relationship improving.

Still, FL should drop his ass. I would've offed myself immediately, her mentality is strong af

    ( ̄へ ̄)

I just read the nov updates spoiler forum

She survives, they go through war stuff, she does in fact go to a town near the sea to recover and then they end up together. Alot of people say that the end is pretty anticlimactic.

Same, but he betrayed her because he involved himself with her because of her father and killed him. (Technically he didn't kill him he was part of the forces, and her father wasnt innocent at all, so it was just) and then showed his dislike (we still have his abused past to discuss)

Ig because she was 'spoiled and naive' but she was really a positive and loving person. She was hopeful that maybe one day he'll come back lovingly like the old him. the miscarriage was the final straw.

Spoiler I read the novel, probably gonna write until the end. Note that this is the general scenes, there are mini scenes of ML and FL note included.

But gotta say they didn't end up, like wham! We're back again, they actually go through the process of accepting, forgiving and not in a relationship for a while just to let each other breath.

First the novel is soooooooo well written, Second the ML has the BIGGEST INFERIORITY COMPLEX.

After she hang herself and survive ML finally approved the divorce in exchange of her staying alive, FL unconsciously agree and promise to stay alive. FL then stay with her gun man's sister (she fell sorry after hearing FL commit suicide). FL start a new life in neighboring town together w/ her gunman's sister and family, she sort of become a Nanny for their child.

A war broke out and FL volunteer in front line as citizen nurse, she thinks doing this is right for her atonement (but homegirl didn't even do anything for her to do atonement╥﹏╥).
While in war ML hear the rumors of FL being in front line and actually made the FL leave it, like order from above or something. When FL was transferred to west (not dangerous like front line) they met again. Note that it's been I think a year since they last met ftf.

Thats not enough for ML so he thinks of sending FL to another base far from the front line and west (also cause a 3rd ML, a soldier in west have a crush on FL). So ML kept FL in his barracks for a while and actually FL help them solve a cryptic message from the enemies that is written in piano sheets.

After that the FL was sent to the far away base, the war actually broke there and put her on far more danger. At one point when they are escaping they were trapped in a burning church (FL actually played the piano again before the church burn for a child) and FL injured her hand saving a soldier when they try to escape the fire. ML rushes to the scene and personally dugged up the church ruins to find FL, only to got shot by a sniper when they rushing FL to the car.

They end up staying in the same hospital where the ML is refusing to see the FL but when they do at some point they kiss, not the sweet and love kiss but a bitter kiss symbolising regret and forgiveness.
They didn't start their relationship again but promise to stay friends and write to each other while FL lived alone in a seaside house.

ML suffer from hearing loss in one of his ear cause of a bombing. But once the war is ended they do start seeing each other eventually more on casual yet have a pinch of romance. (FL actually wondered if ML still likes her cause ML won't touch or make a move)

In the side stories they do end up marrying each other again quietly after the ML retire from his position after the war and they have children.

    The End

Want to add some cute side scene, the Child the FL play the piano for in the church actually survive and like get attached to FL, in the hospital the child is also there and there is this one cute scene where FL is reading a book to the child and when they asked ML to read it, he run away cause of embarassment.

When FL leave the hospital to live in a seaside house, ML read the book to the child and ML take the child with him when he got home. (They do think of adopting the child but didn't do so because they both know they are not emotionally ready and available for that, they end up finding a loving family for the child)

Shes gone... Even if she survives again and again shes mentally gone. Shes numb.

She'll keep on doing it because she's been mistreated mostly by her husband, her former lover.
She is no longer receiving love and appreciation from him like she used to, and to add up to that is the weight of her family background and also the resentment to her from the common folk and his colleagues , her underlying trauma from when her family was killed, getting shot and miscarrying their baby which, theyve been trying for 4 years and in result is now barren.

Her spirit has been diminished. Even if she seems fine, shes waiting for the right time to strike herself. Even if he returns back to the affectionate lover he once was shes not recovering.

Even if hes shit or wtvr, i just have to say it's really traumatic to see a loved one or close family in that situation. and when they keep doing it then what else can you do than letting them go or keeping close watch on then 24/7? Press f for his sanity

She's even getting physiological tests and yet she's set on her end. She needs a new purpose , but not sure if she needs to be beside him or away?
