y'all i just binge read the entire novel. so spoiler alert !!!! this will definitely get really dark and there will be rape. lots of it :/
the rape is a crucial part of the story so i don't think the editors and author will be skipping that. so there's your warning for anyone who was looking for cute and fluff only. THERE WILL BE RAPE AND TORTURE inflicted on MC so.
the male lead is batshit crazy. he's also like not fully human, because bro literally gets stabbed in the chest multiple times (while trying to protect mc) and goes into a coma, like on the brink of death... and then wakes up one day all well and tries to choke mc because he thinks he's gonna run away from him (again). like he gets so obsessed and possessive over mc it's beyond insane.. so if you're into that, then you'll like this manhwa.
tbh i'd say this story is worth reading. i'm actually really excited to see how the novel will turn out in comic form. the story has a lot of action and fighting scenes so, that's cool.

yeah, mainly by ml. their first few times mc seems to be into it, but things go south and mc tries to run away, and ml rapes him a lot after that. it's explicitly stated in the novel that it's rape.
about that... i guess almost dying while protecting mc and taking him back from a kidnapping is the author trying to redeem his character. but again he is evil to his core and lowk insane so... he just kind of stopped forcing himself on mc, and then let mc go for some time while he (ml) went to fight in a war. i guess the test was that if he could even let mc go because he is sooo obsessed and possessive.
mc says at the end of the novel that he's still afraid of ml but he loves him so.

Omg I agree that it's worth reading. It sounds bad but their relationship makes sense with this kind of plot, its like a lovers to enemies to lovers, hard to explain without spoiling too much. But one can tell that they are really made for eo despite everything.
As far as im concerned any relationship that starts off with violent rape and abuse is not one deserving of a happy ending, its genuinely disgusting when authors make rape victims fall in love with their rapists and treat it like a good thing.

when it comes to real human relationships, like yeah obviously, but this is fiction. and their first time wasn't rape, just kind of dubcon? since mc didn't fully know how sex goes. but he says he liked it and wanted to do it again with ml in the novel so. basically he had his sex exploration arc with ml because he lived in solitude before that.
The thing about fiction is that it inevitably influences real life, especially to younger people. So even if its fictional, if its portrayed as a crime thats not THAT bad and something that can just be forgiven, it will inevitably have a negative effect on some people.
