Is there a novel of this? I'm in ch 63 and I don't know why Leo had to go in disguise of the entrance exam? And why's he doing that when he already attends that human military school? Just to see Aron's hometown? Beastmen? And why didn't that Bergins (?) ask why he was in a disguise even after confirming Leo's mom's his human friend? Not only this scene. Feels like a lot of times were skipped too in previous chapters.

And you'd think schools would have tighter security if their grounds are in danger and has traitors but no, they still continue doing dangerous exams without any preventive measures (they do have them but as we can see it always fails when those tartarus guys are involved)

Anyway good story though. Feels sad knowing you were with your friends fighting for peace but you get being cast as an extra or some kinda rumor by future gens.

He definitely attend that exam just for sh*t and giggles. And obviously to look at the other school students (and looking for prospective Arron's inheritor).

As for that adult who knows his mom, since his mom actually lay low, no one knows who she married (hence why no one know his mom is an ex-Zerdinger). So, since he doesn't know that, maybe he assume that his mom married a beastmen? (Since a half-elf exist, maybe half-beastman too?) So no he doesn't know who Leo actually is.

That school security part is definitely frustrating, yeah. Though I can understand some of it. First, it's a school specialized for training fighters. So anything are considered training. Second, I think the school can't just willy nilly investigate people. It's a school full of people from various backgrounds and political factions. Any mistakes can trigger actual international incidents.

Honestly though, IMHO, the school staffs all reacted fine to any emergencies. Though some of them get solved thanks to MC, even if MC doesn't help them, they can definitely solve it themselves. So far, no students died (other than that annoying first year in that summoning exam). It also helps that they strictly screen all students so the weak ones will not progress pass them exams. The ones left are trained to be able to react accordingly to emergencies.

I'm currently reading the novel and how the story progress is so much better. It also explains how the school wasn't that careless after all. There was a lot of events in the novel that was ommited in the manhwa making it seem like there were lost pages in most chapters. The story telling wasn't executed really well here (for me) so I plan to dropthis and continue the novel instead.
