The dialogues between characters feel so AI idek I can predict literally every single line that they're gonna say next cuz of the AI smut I divulge myself into. I don't wanna accuse the author or translator for using AI, but you gotta be kidding me. Can't believe ts has such a high rating.

My guy, I've read A LOT of smut, but this one takes the cake for having the weirdest sounding dialogues. The whole AI things doesn't even matter. It's just that the dialogue feels so unnatural. It's like they (either the author or translator) are trying to make the dialogues between characters sound "smart and hot," but ultimately failing to give that feeling when they speak like horny teenage mfs who just discovered Shakespearean language. WHO TALKS LIKE THIS IRL? Goodness, the couple's chemistry is so perfect that it feels like they're talking to themselves through a mirror. "Oh, darling, you really know how to make me go crazy." "Of course, dear, after all, [some smart ass comment about how they know so much about them and the plot]" They literally complete each other's thoughts through these unnaturally perfect exposition. Can we just have more fucking and less talking? Ts is actually pmo holy- For the first time, I want smut over plot.

... Bc it's historically set? If you don't want "Shakespearean" language, don't read something set in the far past? It's just formal speech. If anything I'm glad it's there bc most historical ones on this site completely speak like they're modern day and use slang that doesn't make sense for the time period. Ofc no one really talks like this irl, bc it's 2026 not 1626. This is set in the very far past, in the depths of palace life. Ofc there's going to be incredibly formal speech. "It's a cow farm, ofc there's going to be cows outside" lmao
