Many year ago I read a yaoi manga, and there was a scene that got stuck in my mind.
It was a scene with the protagonist sitting on the floor, surrounded by all black (as if it was inside his mind), and he was remembering the people that, in a way, tried to help him through the story.
He could see them one by one, like, extending a hand to lift him up, but he couldn't grab their hands, as if no one could help him.
Finally, his own self appears, and then he realizes that nobody could help him but himself.

Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden Josh is so open about having sex with Chase?? Did I miss something?? Last thing I remember he couldn't stand him.

The rape scene was disgusting, but I believe that's exactly what the author wanted the readers to feel. The scene is repulsive because you know that the victim is imagining someone completely different and that fills you with rage, knowing that you as a reader can't do anything but watch and read, wanting to "burn it all".
It needed to be explicit and long, no prince saving the princess just in time, no "luck", so the reader could just grasp the a bare minimum of what Mugo must have felt seeing what was happening.
Also, reading the previous chapter and knowing that it was Lord Mugo, the one who's supposed to love the sacrifice the most, the one that put the MC in this situation, was also intentional so you would stop for minute and think "something's not right..." And it gives room for Jerk Mugo to analyze what he is feeling and why he feels that way, in other words, character development.

Even though it has a lot of sex, this isn't your typical "nut material" with no storyline and just a lot of fucking around for no reason, trying to add as many different porn based scenes so the reader doesn't even need to remember who the characters are or if what's happening is right or wrong.
This story may have picked your interest because of the art style, the author or the "smut" category, but once you start reading you keep on going due to the story itself.

The rape scene was horrible, but it was needed, if not, why are we so angry?

This was so funny, with a little bit of spice here and there.
No rape, no mistreatment, no obsession, just pure wholeheartedness.

Is it just me or was the sex scene like... Short?
I was really anticipating it, as it seems the MC is kind of trashy and the ML isn't interested at all.
I was hoping for some kind of "A whole new world" experience for the MC and at least some "this is a little enjoyable" from the ML perspective.
Like, a scene that could have lasted "hours" lasted a few minutes haha so disappointing.

I love this manga, but I'm getting a little lost...

So 6 chapters are missing from the end! This has already been completed as there are only 70 chapters in total! So I will be summarizing the rest since there are no translations in ENG sadly. The rest were in ARB (aka. Arabic), here’s the link for anyone interested!

SO, without further ado, let’s get into this.

It starts with a bit of a flashback to the past in 1912 where the antagonist, aka angelic guy, gets his appearance. He had killed an angel that looked like the appearance he takes now. (The blond hair and all). After realizing he can become more powerful by eating human souls or angel souls, he suddenly meets another angel like himself, who calls him out on his act, saying how he’ll one day pay for his actions. (Antagonist tried to attack that angel but missed since they were fast)

Flashback to the current situation, he’s on the ground, dying with blood spewing out of him. Though he’s alone, and in such a state, he believes he’s still won since ML is sad over FL’s death. FL’s father had saw the scene from below the company building and rushed to the top to also find that FL is dead. He regrets not being there, so he wants to exchange his life, but cannot since a devil doesn’t have the power to do so. The area surrounding the ML suddenly warps a bit as if he were alone (still on the company roof(?)) where the same angel that ridiculed the antag appears before. He finds the ML interesting, and allows him to go back in time when FL was being forced to call out for him, moments before she was about to get killed. THIS TIME HE MAKES IT IN TIME! The two fight, and ultimately, ML wins with FL alive.

After this major hill was overcome, ML had severe injuries and had gone into a 4 day coma, he did survive and the company was undergoing massive backlash as it was shutdown. Sometime after ML had awoken, FL had encountered the same angel too, who had helped the ML, they had explained that ML was no longer a devil, and was now a normal human, and that if she was in a pickle, she could just call out to him. And the angel disappears with that.

Anither transition occurs and the character afterwards, get together and have a mini-party/sleepover! The bodyguard, the grandmother, the other lady who was previously in the hospital after getting kidnapped, FL and ML, etc.

The most wonderful part is that while everyone is asleep, FL wakes up to find that her best friend had came to her in a ghost-like form and was happy for her.

HAPPY ENDING :)

(I wasn’t able to see if they ACTUALLY got together or not, and they never kissed or anything, but I’m pretty confident they got together)

I think the story is catching. Not the best not the worst.
As you read you feel a bit frustrated because everything seems rushed and the female lead it's very naive and sulky, but as she grew with no education or parents at all, I think it's reasonable that she behaves that way.
I believe it could have been a very good, long story with more chapters to develope the feelings and love between the main characters.

Do I recommend it?
If you want to read something to kill time, yes.
If you want a great story with good character development and grasping plot, then no. But at least it isn't a reincarnation story haha

I kind of like it but I'm not so sure...
The ending doesn't convince me at all, I mean... I was expecting a little bit more than just a kiss scene.
Are they gonna stay there together with Vincent? Or are they gonna stay there alone?
What happens to the empire? Does each house disappear after being the two most powerful houses? Then what happens to the prince and all of Vincent's cousins?
The story gave the impression that Vincent and Adora would have something going on... What about them?

I have too many questions and I can't find any translated content of the side stories.

Does anybody feel the same as I do or is it just me?
