When you're writing a soulmates-type story... is it really necessary to add other people in the middle of the story and make them lose 8 years of their life? I did not miss the implications that the guy was likely cheating before they broke up either. And then the innocent party even had to live on after his death. There are so many ways to create conflict in a story without something like this smh. This would've been unbearably wholesome without that plot point, but as it is it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. That was almost 1/8th of their lives. Also ''it's not like we were gay to begin with''?? Gosh I'm so glad that newer stories don't try to push that bull anymore

This part had made me so angry that I had started crying…Like how can you overthink about an uncertain just to ruin ur present completely and u can’t push what u think could have happened onto someone else…I was literally wishing the uke had died and the seme regretted for life at a point *sigh*…But well then when I think deeply, it’s actually kind of realistic, it’s unfair but realistic…So many gay ppl has internalized homophobia from the fear of society’s judgement and norm, they don’t wanna feel like an alien…He really did ruined twice life at once, wish the uke hadn’t forgiven him that easily…But yeah, real life isn’t sunshine and rainbows, it was supposed to be bittersweet bcoz that’s how life is…ppl so mistake, they regret, they separate and reconcile again…I think the writing was so good that I really cry all the time reading it…

The story was pretty good, but I feel like we needed at least 20 more chapters after the climax, just to round everything up. I can't understand what went through the author's head when, instead of establishing their new normal in the extras and helping us feel like they were receiving the HEA that they deserved, they decided to do a time jump 10 years into the future. Like sure, it was nice and it did show us that HEA, but that was not what this story needed in order to feel complete...
