When you're writing a soulmates-type story... is it really necessary to add other people in the middle of the story and make them lose 8 years of their life? I did not miss the implications that the guy was likely cheating before they broke up either. And then the innocent party even had to live on after his death. There are so many ways to create conflict in a story without something like this smh. This would've been unbearably wholesome without that plot point, but as it is it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. That was almost 1/8th of their lives. Also ''it's not like we were gay to begin with''?? Gosh I'm so glad that newer stories don't try to push that bull anymore

The story was pretty good, but I feel like we needed at least 20 more chapters after the climax, just to round everything up. I can't understand what went through the author's head when, instead of establishing their new normal in the extras and helping us feel like they were receiving the HEA that they deserved, they decided to do a time jump 10 years into the future. Like sure, it was nice and it did show us that HEA, but that was not what this story needed in order to feel complete...

Decided to re-read this because I was in the mood for mpreg and I didn't remember why I rated it so high. This time the cute baby could not brainwash me. Pregnant husband running away from home at the first sign of trouble and disappearing off the face of the planet for the second time... would be grounds for divorce AND trying to get full custody eventually, because that's about the most selfish thing a parent can do. I would not be able to trust him after that, as a partner OR as a parent. Babe, you don't get to take that child away from his dad too. He deserves to have a choice in this. The ML's only mistake was caring more about his family than his career, and like. Yeah, he should've talked to his partner about the suppressants, but... can you blame him when he had reason to not trust the MC with this? The guy was terrified of him disappearing again. And he did.

On that note... authors, can we please, PLEASE stop making omegas run away from their partners and/or children for selfish reasons? Why did THIS become a popular trope in omegaverse (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I chose to stick to the fan translation since it was so good, so seeing the honorifics dropped once I had to switch to the official translation was jarring to say the least. Sublime really needs to stop doing that smh, it made Togawa sound so rude and disrespectful and made him finally starting to use Nozue's first name at the end... pretty much meaningless. I honestly believe that honorifics should be kept in any translation. Not like the buyers won't already be used to them anyway.

That aside, this manga was a joy to read, especially the first volume. Firmly putting this in my future middle-aged crisis TBR list lmao.

So should I real the official translated version or official?? What would you recommend?

This feels so weird to say because he still has a TON of making up to do, but I'm so proud of the dad. Sometimes all you need to do is to swallow your pride and just... try. You'll fail a lot, but your efforts will matter. Baby steps.

And for all of you out there who have a difficult relationship with not just a father but anyone dear to them... may they find the strength to fight for their right to love you.

Ran here as soon as I finished watching the drama and, gotta say... the earlier episodes of the drama felt silly, but at least they were perfectly paced. I didn't expect this to be quite this rushed..

The structure in this manwha is all over the place... By themselves, the stories are pretty good, but because of how they're cut and intermingled they just feel frustrating and unfulfilling. Every time I start to get invested in a story or something interesting happens... we switch to the other couple. I'm stopping mid season 2 for now because I simply don't have the patience for this right now.

Maybe this could've been good if it had had enough chapters to properly develop these characters. As of right now, all I see is a bottom who only cares about his partner's body and a top who seriously needs some therapy. Sure, they're still together after 10 years and they apparently have kids now, but all we got to see about that was basically the same dynamic that we already saw before. I wanted something short and sweet for once sigh.

Societal change starts with healing generational trauma: a story.

I feel like I was a different person before I read this and now a tiny part of my inner child is happier. I am thankful to this author for spreading such important messages.

Came back to this after years when I saw that there were like 50 new chapters. I fully intended to treat this manga as a silly no plot nonsense strip comic type of thing, but I gotta say. The girls not changing at all in like 70 chapters and Satou doing absolutely nothing to stop them from acting like that, and then the way he keeps wanting to see Yoshida being upset... Not saying that protagonists need to be perfect at all time, but I do find characters like Satou unlikeable. Can you really say that you love someone when all you want is to make them soothe your insecurities by bringing out the worst in them and making them miserable half the time they're with you? And not just Satou, most characters have no development at all, which would be fine if this WAS just satire, but the author keeps trying to take it seriously. Like this latest arc that had no foreshadowing and came out of fucking nowhere. No, I don't consider Satou being tired and saying that he's been talking to his friends from England a few pages before he disappeared development. It's... really disappointing to feel like the MC in a BL would be happier with the ML's nutjob, sadistic female bestie ngl. Girl flew all the way from Japan just to give him a piece of her mind for what he did to Yoshida and in that she showed more genuine care and concern for Yoshida than Satou did in the whole series smh
