i don’t like nor dislike the story. i think mc’s emotion was demonstrated well, however im just mad at the other characters besides ml. mc was selfish yes, but he also thought about everyone and what was the best situation logically, so he left. selfish about his “freedom” but he didn’t only act upon emotion. when he left, he didn’t stay even when faced with his uncertain feelings for ml. AND the other characters rlly need to cut him some slack omg. everyone is selfish, only humanly natural, BUT he didn’t have any say in the war, no power, and was just a palace puppet. the other characters need to realize the only reason ml is alive and wasn’t executed was bc of mc pleading. YALL WOULDNT HAVE WON THE WAR IF ML WAS DEAD i said it, even some readers need to realize this. mc is barely at fault. EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO BE SELFISH in some ways.
Ok I was skeptical reading this and it didn’t help that the first two knights he took under his name were women, but it’s good guys. No harem/romance of the sort that I would deem (the elf doesn’t count). Like if you’re wondering if you should read this, I think it’s great
I was also sceptical because of the harem hints, bit it was so damn good.
