it’s a matter of if not when lmao, these sites literally come up with a google search do you think that an anti piracy campaign involving governments, multinational corporations and (in the case of bato at least) fucking interpol has no idea and will be tricked if you don’t post about mgg on twitter? it’s always a game of whack a mole with piracy, if we’re lucky the admins will comply with an order at some point & take down then later restart the website with different servers etc., if we’re not & they really messed up they go to jail like the bato guy

It's an isekai manhwa. The MC is a baby girl with golden hair and golden eyes. She had many brothers and a perfectly healthy parents. The father has black hair and golden eyes. One specific scene I remembered is the baby had to crawl up to her father's lap in front of his father's soldiers and advisers. And there were times when she grew a little bit, she will feel really proud of herself (like learning how to crawl, walk, burp and all). Please help me find this manhwa. Thank you!

South Korea has approved a tougher copyright law that cracks down on anime and manga piracy, with serious penalties for those who share links to illegal sites.
Under the revised rules, knowingly circulating links to pirated content can be treated as a criminal offense, carrying a maximum sentence of up to seven years in prison or heavy fines.
The law also gives authorities more power to block piracy websites, including those hosted overseas, as the country steps up efforts to protect creators and media companies from illegal distribution.
This the greed they talk bout in bible cause tell me why does sharing illegal site gets you 7 years in prison while a rapist only gets 5 or 2.5 years or most of them get on probation
They don't earn money by putting rapists in jail longer.
Ok, a part of me gets it, but another part of me thinks how is this any different from lending out media?
I remember I was watching a documentary on Blockbuster and at one point they talked about how when they first launched, Hollywood studios tried to stop them from renting out videos because they feared it was going to eat into their profits and tied to sue, but in the end blockbuster won because technically once you buy something you can resell/rent without permission from the original owner.
So, it’s not like any of the series being shared here live in a vacuum. At some point they’re being bought by someone who then decides to share it. Granted, it’s being “shared” to possibly millions, but at the same time most scan groups aren’t making any money (the host sires might be though).
And, even though they could argue, I’m sure some of this illegality does translate to actual sales.
Of course this is all anecdotal, but in my personal case, I ve found quite a few series in less than legal ways that I’ve gone out and purchased later.

So if rapist is Korea gets 5 year jail time, if they injure the victim but illegal sites get 7 years jail time. Nice, what a bunch of hypocrites! No wonder they promote rape in manhwas.
Bottomline is, these things posted here are intellectual property of authors and artists. We are privileged enough to read these for free here. (Though, I do purchase some chaps for my own consumption.)

Honestly, I did purchase a web novel legally only to find out that it was on hiatus because of "localization". It's complete in illegal websites. Can you guess where I'm reading it now despite it being MTL? When I reached that point I was like "why did I even bother paying up if I'll just go back to illegal sites?"
