I need some recs that have me immersed. Like after reading I just sit there and like grieve or try to digest the awesomeness. I want to read something that I can’t get over and that takes me days to get into the rhythm of life. They can be sad or lovey dovey, I don’t discriminate!
Some examples of such is “Perle” which had me sobbing so badly and now I can’t look at pearls and blue paint the same.
Another is “Hwang Young’s Misery” which was so well written that I stopped reading for a bit cut everything else felt inadequate.
Separately I would also like to ask for some that have niche specialization and you can actually learn some odd knowledge. (Ex. “Melting Point” uses hockey terms and “Into the Thrill” the bottom plays the violin and drops ball)

I remember that the bottom was an office worker at an office near the beach? And the top joins in later. They had been friends or had briefly met and the bottom had the top a keychain.
The top had pretty blond or white hair and I think the title had something to do with the ocean.
The bottom doesn’t recognize the top at first but later does when he pulls out the keychain.
I just remember the whole thing being centered around the keychain and the sea
