The story itself was kinda flat. I liked the theming surrounding the trauma of being parentified at a young age a lot. But I wish there was more of it, and with more depth. More healing. More from the parents that did this to them. And all the drama wraps up just a little too quickly to get to the porn, which seems to be the focus. And that's not a bad thing, but you do have to balance it instead of rushing to conclusions. This comic's strength really lies in its art at the end of the day. If you like hardcore (but still pretty vanilla kink-wise) sex scenes this is right up your alley. VERY well drawn. VERY steamy. This is the kind of high quality yaoi I used to dream about. But if you're like me now and you genuinely read BL/yaoi for the plot, or have a preference for a little more in your sex scenes than

All in all, for me, it's like sipping a Kool-Aid made with slightly too much water. No doubt in my mind I'm far happier with this than with nothing, but it's definitely diluted, and I kinda wish there was more to it. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

It's pretty okay, but the amount of unresolved conflicts is driving me nuts. Shekina comes in, causes a scene in the manor, SEVERAL people get fired for causing a further scene, and then.... No consequences. No follow up. Forget that part happened, we're never gonna mention it again. It's very, very sloppy writing.

I liked most of the first two seasons, but by the end of season two I just was over it. It felt like a natural ending (albeit a mid one, considering the victim blaming themes of the main villain, and the weird sympathy for the abuser that caused this situation in the first place but not as much for the person whose life he ruined??) with the FL and the ML settling down and "redeeming" the sister, aka the Main Villain, and her moving away... She even cuts her hair to imply she'll never try to impersonate her sister again, which is the ENTIRE PREMISE of the comic... Like the story is of an evil twin sister who wants to impersonate her twin to take down the family and the Good Twin who wants to stop her. And now suddenly there's no sister, and all the loose ends about that are tied up, but then suddenly there's a third season out of nowhere about a magic system and a demon king like villain? There's barely been any magic in the story so far, nor has the demon king like villain been mentioned at all. It's out of place, jarring, and it genuinely ruins a story that should have finished at its climax, because now when I think about this all I think about is how bizarre a writing decision it was to greenlight a third season that clearly hadn't been planned as part of the original narrative. A couple side stories to explore their aftermath for sure! But a whole third season? That has practically nothing to do with the first two thematically? Fuckin really?
