oh, and one more thing i still think the people living in edor aren’t actually people, but zombies or cursed-hunted-creatures. the mc only sees them as humans bc he’s unaware that he is being affected by the flower that can make ppl hallucinate. mc seeing a lively and peaceful village might just be the work of that flower, and in reality it is just but an abandoned village full of cursed sh*ts. i believe that only the ml and his assistant can see the true nature of edor and not be affected by the flower. back when mc met with his ex-fubu we can see that the girl’s make up, specifically her lipstick—smudges on her face, but when the mc kissed that girl, no lipstick stain was visibly transferred to his lip despite kissing. is it just an art error or was it intentional?
i’m not usually a fan of horror or anything hunted/ghost related but the author cooked with the horror scenes in edor. the thrill, the vibe, the atmosphere, and the art was all so intense and creepy. it spooked me out. tbh i’m the type of person who is afraid of being alone and not to mention, easily scared, but reading along the way it also made me feel giddy because the ml was always there to rescue the mc in times of need. it gave mc a sense of safety and comfort, and the ml a protector figure. knowing this it also gave me relief. i was literally jumping out of happiness whenever the ml was acting like the mc’s shining knight armor during their time in edor lololololol. the story behind the noble family was terrific and well written i wanted to see more of it but it’s such a shame it ended quickly. i hope the author still pursue this kind of theme for this bl manhwa. the horror thrill combined with the romantic thrill the finding of the aloshya should’ve been longer ngl, but given the situation i guess it couldn’t be helped bc their goal in the first place was to bring the flower back asap for the dying emperor.

when I saw “season 1 end” a part of me died.
