Because of the cover photo I genuinely thought Abel our beloved mc, would just be the prince's parental figure. The person who would teach him to trust, love and to learn that not everyone or everything was out to hurt him. I thought the route this story would take was the prince being raised by Abel, a lil timeskip where he's a bit older, he will meet new characters his age who become his friends giving him platonic bonds whereas Abel being his familial attachment (along with the Ashler being an uncle of sorts) we stay in this arc as he learns what it means to have trusted peers. Then another timeskip where he's at the age he is in the dream, we finally get introduced to his 'love interest' someone who's incredibly different to the person he holds the highest regards of (aka Abel his father/mother) NEVERTHELESS them two fall in love with time and whatever slow burn that I thought the author was cooking. This is literal speed run of what I thought would happen. He gains more and more important pple along the way with Abel at his side but no.....whats coming ahead breaks my heart ;-;
This author may not be pregnant but they ALWAYS deliver, this manhwa is perfect.

Bls of this quality are harder to get compared to the 'standard' that never fail to come out by the hundreds. I can only find one or two yearly that I genuinely love that has no unnecessary or overly complicated messes. I find it crazy that the frontrunners are still ones that are filled with toxicity, major red flags or full of creepy tropes that keep being used. When I was younger, everytime I heard of or saw a popular yaoi it had those traits and it became my 'normal' until I found one that had a seme that wasn't a walking piece of shit plus an uke that had a backbone and it was pure shock to the system for me at the time because that was how low my expectations were for good characters to come out of a BL. It was only then that I truly felt that this genre was worth it and once I kept finding more I liked, I never picked up or read ones that gave me bad vibes ever again. Honto Yaju, this manga holds a special place in my heart ever since I first read it on mangafox and found it again on mangapanda. It will always be one of my favs to reread
(Call it intuition) Love the maturity with which these men are abt to address with a young adult who was raised a certain way in a very conservative country. She went abt it the wrong way: yes, should she have stayed out of his business? Also yes but she's not being intentionally malicious, it's coming from a place of concern for a person she truly cares abt. Point is, she's abt to gain an understanding or perspective of a matter she's never given much thought to, either because she was raised to believe it wrong or no exposure to said matter in her life, she's abt to truly learn (which i believe we'll see next ch), it fully depends on her whether that growth will either be positive or negative
P.S: I agree it's not her place to pry or interfere; but a lil understanding or compassion goes a long way. Give some pple a chance to learn from their mistakes coz the 'narrow minded' character of today might develop into the 'biggest supporter' of tomorrow.
