it was a fitting death for Gojo. He reunited with Geto, his other friends and got closure. Plus it's been so long since his death... Feels like Gege's bringing him back only as a last resort to not get jumped
But sadly I saw Japanese spoiler thread on 5ch and most of them are hating it
