The character in this manga are really annoying and often unreasonable, but I think it's because the manga showcases these feeling, thougths and these scenes that we or many people have felt before. it's frustrating and stupid, yet at the same time realistic. in my opinion if you get what I mean. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

why are the twins different from the others? because every child has different mothers like them. so it does not make sense that they are different. and i don't remember the relationships the king had with the mothers, so it would be nice if someone can tell me aigain, so that i don't have to re-read everything again(￣∇￣")
As far as I know the empress is all the eldest kids mother they are different ages and look different because of magic that with makes them either older or a bit different the twins mother did something so she could get pregnant with them to manipulate him she wasn't even a concubine just a blackmailer. And Roses hated the emperor because he was in love with the empress and she refused him. He's hated the royal family and worse because the emperor had kids with a woman not her his perfect empress.
Dude I get why they're "illegitimate" becuase the twins mother was not the empress but technically they have the same amount of magic royal blood as their brothers since it comes from their shared father. Their stunted growth caused by their mothers abuse makes sense but not because they have "less royal blood" or whatever the fuck
He doesn't care about the royal family or royal blood its just an excuse to kill the kids and ruin the ruin the royal family and I think they are weaker because of their mothers gifts interfering with he royal bloodline in them they should have more powers bit only have telepathy.

Wait, I thought the fox guy (Jason) was their spirit? Those who have the royal bloodline was supposed to have their own spirit/guardian. So isn't Jason theirs? Their mother, the red hair bitch who fucking died because she was stupid, has powers where she can control anyone once she tastes their blood, but that's it. She doesn't have a protector or anything like that. If she did, the so called protector should have died then (like the empress' case) and Jason won't even care about the twins.
Also, idk if they're stronger or not, but they did meet all of the requirements to be of the royal bloodline though. Maybe not as much as the others because of their health and/or their mother's blood.
Read it over from the start the fox belonged to someone in the royal family they weren't strong enough to have a protector. That's why he has conditions to manifest and protect them the others don't.
Nope I’m telling you the Jason is the twins Protector, definitely not that woman’s protector first of all bc her power is supposedly related to black magic and she’s not royal, she died and since the protectors are born from their partners magic Jason is supposed to be dead as well but he’s not. And there is no other royal alive, I mean y would Jason stay with the king if he’s not the twins Protector?

I did. And Jason is indeed their protector. He's not, in anyway, their mother's protector nor is he related to their mother.
