YYYYYEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH THIS IS SO REFRESHING LOVE THIS ISEKAI CONCEPT
This is my first time reading a straight guideverse lol
I hope they won't try to prolong her secret of being a guide and reincarnated, at least to the ml.
Here is a list of esper x guide stories, pretty sure all of these are bl? Haven't checked recently, but I follow this list for quick guideverse recommendations hehe

I first started reading this years ago when it just had like 3 chaps. The description was so cheesy and wacky I just had to check it out. And I was surprised that despite the ridiculous premise, it's actually an enjoyable read. I'm still not too sure why I have fun reading this. Cute kids? The not-instant-love romance between the ml and mc? How they handled the kids' "evilness"? The sheer unseriousness of this manga? Idk, but as someone who read this through the years, I enjoyed every chapter. It was crazy, but fun. To future ppl who'll read this in one sitting, I hope you enjoy this silly cute manga too !
I can tell this will be a happy ending. Why? Because the angst is not that angsty and could easily be resolved by honesty and communication. HAHAHAHAHAHA
I await the return of the Owens, hopefully we see their child(ren?) too. Nux, I'm glad you finally realized your feelings for Owen. When he comes back, be honest this time around alright? Tsunderes make for terrible partners when they don't learn from their mistakes. Owen, you were good at being honest about your feelings for Nux, so why would you leave like that without notice? I hope you have a good reason and explain it properly to Nux when you meet again.
Can someone explain to me why Cardinal Richelieu is a bad guy aside from the thing he did the previous life?
From his pov, we saw what he saw in the Vatican--men of supposed utter devotion to their god are instead devoted to gaining and maintaining power and wealth and perhaps even lust. Richelieu truly believes that he was chosen by god to continue his life for a reason, maybe to make a difference in the world idk. He wants to get rid of the corruption in the church, but as a newbie he knows he's powerless so he bides his time, gaining influence, until he can strike confidently.
But was Meissner right about him? Is Richelieu not doing it for the noble cause of purging corruption, but is actually just doing it to be on top? Does he just want power?
Lowkey would rather have him not have that kind of twist to his motivation. I think it'd be interesting to see the different choices he will make in the second life, where Shuri just unknowingly helped him oust a corrupt priest and bring to light the many crimes he committed while under the protection of the church. Cuz in the first life, he alone was the brains of his operation, and it seemed that everything all fell according to plan, meaning no one was acting out of his expectations. Shuri, in this life, is acting a bit different from what he expected. It could be a chance for him to tweak the details in his plan to not involve her brutal death? Maybe he'll find that there's another way to purge the corruption in the country aside from a whole ass war? Maybe he'll finally get enough sleep to reduce those eyebags?
Idk man my brain is too small for scheming
Please against all odds do not let that hypocritical bitch be the fl. What the fuck was she saying, "you do not deserve to be a player." Who tf are you to say that? So he's undeserving, but you, who is retaliating against the bullied for finally having the power to defend himself from the bullies who have assaulted him for so long while she did nothing, you think you deserve to be a player? Your justice is a farce. Performative. You're playing a role of a good girl and failing, yet people don't notice how flawed your justice is because of your rank. Disgusting.
I bet she falls in love with the mc. Barf.
Her last line in ch12 makes me wonder.... does she have all of her memories of her past life? Is she missing memories and she doesn't realize it? Or was Ciel really just emotionally constipated?
This may just be my red flag blindness acting up, but since we got to see what Ciel experienced, I understand why he acted that way to Seohyeon. He was probably paranoid and worried af if he doesn't see her, fearing she would be in danger and used against him by the government who wanted to chain him to korea. Because he said *initially* he didn't like her, which means he eventually did grow affection for her (you could argue that it's due to the guiding, but I'd like to think that over time, Ciel grew to trust Seohyeon as someone he can rely on, and at the same time someone he has to protect.)
Still, as we saw from her POV, he really was overbearing to her, without even an explanation on why he acts that way. Honestly, if this is a wife-chasing story, I hope he works hard to regain her love and prove himself worthy of her this time. Compared to other scum male leads, he's pretty tame and much more worthy of forgiveness lol
This story is already so good, I love that they aren't prolonging the secret of her reincarnation to the ml. Really looking forward to the rest, I hope they keep up this momentum of pacing!
I think she does have all her memories but if you’re talking about the scene where he is sweet with her when she was sick, well… she was sick so she thinks it was just a hallucination or dream. And I think the moments where he were sweet were so fleeting that she just didn’t understand them as being loving or sweet moments. So yes, I think your latter guess is more accurate that he was just emotionally constipated. I think he just has his own perspective of things, and he inflated how affectionate he was to her in his own head.
Hes afraid for her life not being controlling but still a shitty move
