Last year January i was in same condition, had to get my thyroid removed do to cancer (detected a lump on time, hasn't spread to thyroid yet but still had to get it removed), when i wake up after surgery first thing i did was puke, awful feeling cause neck was wounded and i keep puking through the day, couldn't even speak cause hurt and cause intubation make throat sore (couldn't speak well for more than a month), also i will be on levothyroxine for life and sadly had hypocalcemia (low calcium level on blood) a complication on surgery due to the the parathyroid damage or removal (as they are very close to each other) a year gas past and still have to take hormone pill + calcium supplements... get checked fellow readers, for me i was diagnosed at 32 years of age (had family who was with same problem so i guess I loose on genetic lottery)... sorry the long post but it really got me (/TДT)/
I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience, but it's admirable how you overcame such difficulties. It's necessary to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and regular check-ups. Your courage in sharing your story motivates others to prioritize their health. Wishing you continued strength and good health on your journey. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
