Too many subplots that unfortunately did not add to the story and they were no explained properly as well! That brother refusal to come out because of his injury, is that an excuse? I thought knights and warrior are proud go injuries!
This a rom-com story after all. A passive, non flexible her request the tenants of his newly acquired hose to leave within 6 months. Funny, how that aggressive behavior of the new landlord has faded away within 1 week of staying with his tenants!
The dynamic relationship of the tenants is quite surreal , reminds of power rangers themes of friendship and we are all one big family. In reality that is impossible, and this attitude is a tune off at least for me because I cannot relate to that. Furthermore, the fact that they added extra people to their one big family by promoting tolerance and family values could be a plus for some but in my opinion, the plot went south after those events. I didn’t find them progressive events.
If the tenants were asked to look for other options and the struggle that had to face with loneliness and hardships, i would expect some character development.
Finally, The story of the transgender woman and her former husband/wife is plain stupid!
Well someone is a pessimist, narrow minded, and doesn't know how to suspend reality for a bit of entertainment. Some manga is quite realistic, some isn't.
You are entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. You will not have a problem unless you are a narrow-minded person who thinks his opinion will prevail, no matter what?

Promoting tolerance and family values, a transgendered story, and people working together ruined it for you, as you stated. Thus, pessimistic, and narrow minded, with no ability to look for ideals over reality. I feel very sorry for you.

You can rate anything the way you see fit. ..I always do, BUT I DON'T leave Debbie downer comments that do nothing but make others uncomfortable, or comments that add no value to the community. If you don't like "the feel good" type; rate as such, and leave a note to yourself under your rating. In that way you don't spread your negative feelings when others come here to escape and attain a bit of levity.
One of the stories that I hate because of exploiting sex is Acid Flower, I hated the mangaka’s handling of that source of energy as it turned the story into a soft Hentai losing the plot within bed sheets.
You can understand my relief when i read this, It is much better with the theme of the need for human energy. The mystery surrounding the characters is intriguing which will serve the plot by adding another layer of shade into this shape business of give and Take
Straight to action! I am not a fan of clueless men or those who are to dump to be salarymen, so this manga was interesting because we are introduced to a character who suspected that his coworker /Senpai comforted him because he loves him. That is a first! Normally , you see a semi convincing an uke of his undying love!
Loved the layout of this manga. I was expecting love triangle infused with Yakuza. Kai felt that he deprived the leader of the real biological son so he decided to blurt out that Masaki will succeed even though the leader didn’t request him to be his successor!
Some might argue that it was his sense of duty, but his sudden change of attitude in the last chapter when he gave in was unexpected!
The last 1/3 of the book was completely rushed! this is one of the most common nuisance in manga. Hated those chapters as the mangaka condensed everything she wanted to achieve without proper editing!
The one thing that I hate about most Yaoi manga is when you have a younger brother /lover suddenly growing to be taller and stronger than his older companion/brother! Why?

Starting from the first installment; We meet an aggressive beast in a brat-like human form who kidnaps Yuuji. Minute is a savage , a child who can’t reason and will not listen to logic. That is expected from a beast/animal. Logical is not comprehensible but the weaker, not manly Yuuji was a disappointment! His shy, oppressive nature made him an annoying character. You want to root for him but there a complete lack of development, comparing the brat beast!
As we read installments 2 and 3, we notice, how Minato changed , he matured but he still not an adult. However, he is still a beast, a man who doesn’t have the same emotions as his companion. Yuuiji was the worst character through the series, he showed strength in rare moments but he was such a passive character that made relating to him a scary thought!
He delivered 2 children, but his bond seemed superficial at some points, he easily gave one up and didn’t create a scene when Minato took his only surviving daughter to the enemy under the premise that we can’t be the only family that doesn’t suffer a loss. What is that supposed to mean?
I was avoiding this manga because I was afraid of the typical Idiot Cop Vs Clever Thief stereotypes, but this one is funny and cleverly paced.
The mangaka did her/his best to research the materials of the chapters, these extra details elevated the experience as it showed that the mangaka cared about the final produced work!
Along theses adventures, we get to know why is Kaito [ Is it a reference to Kaito Kid from Detective Conan?] stealing these particular artifacts. My favorite part of the chapter is those little moments of chit-chat prior and after the thefts between the cafe owner and the officer in charge. They were entertaining.
In spite of enjoying this adventure, I can’t help but get disappointed about the third part of the plot. Spoilers alert!! Kaito visiting the officer in the hospital after successfully getting the jewel and getting into bed action had no merit on the story. Out of the blue, he decides to go for it! That was unexpected and turned this story to the cliche department! The final chapter was rushed and the end was not conclusive. It was not satisfying!
It was a bad end for a great adventure!

Kaito mentioned that he wanted the excitement of taking things under their noses.

Yes, the art was nice although I found the eyes were not sharp or shall I say crisp enough compared to the hair.
Have you noticed the emphasis on Kaito [Akira’s] hair when he took the band of his hair!! The mangaka repeated this scene no less than 3 times!!
You seriously think this was a bad end? I mean, all questions were answered, explanations were given, and they got together. Short of a longer smut scene, what could have they added?
It is not a bad end, but it was a very rushed ending. From the moment, Kaito was discovered as the Business Owner till the final act. I expected more from the detective other than to take the discovery as granted. Wished for more turmoil. We are talking about the thief that was terrorizing the city and his reaction was timid, as if he was surrounding to the fact without a fight.
The final scene is not about them getting together but exploring their attraction as love or is it a mere fascination ?
Most yaoi have rushed endings. I love yaoi but with one volume series, the mangaka has to get thin with plot and exploring feelings sometimes to show an ending. With a clear focus and decent pacing, this was one of the less rushed endings.
I wouldn’t say most, but often [ 50-60%] they are rushed and this is one of them. An ending is either satisfying and conclusive or rushed and semi- plausible!
I understand what was the direction of the managak but I would prefer if the editor spent more time ensuring that the final product is up to the standards of the previous chapters. One or 2 additional chapters will certainly help the transition
I guess it wasn't as big a hit in Japan as it was here.
A factor is public reaction, but most of the time it is due to contracts and conflicting schedules and unfortunately boredom. I think, Japan is the only country where mangakas can decide to not complete their ongoing projects without any complications.
As for Kaito being a reference to Detective Conan, kaito literally just means (phantom) thief. Basically, his name was Thief Hato. I can't tell you if it's a reference or not, though.
If everyone seek to show the world his/her love by tormenting / abusing and even raping that unfortunate loved one, the world will be doomed!
A rape is a rape after all. You can't rape and humiliate somebody out of love. It is your sick mind that made you think that way, but that is not an excuse!
You want to show your love; be kind, respectful and talk/confess your feeling. It will not cost you anything! Don't force your presence on others!

In spite of the sketchy and unrefined drawing style, this one-shot manga hit all the right marks. We have 2 workers with an age difference and positions working the same company, who are indulgencing themselves in a passionate relationship, contemplating the merits of spicing up that time of the day. Isn't it not recommended that a superior and his subordinate engage in a sexual relationship? Well, it is Yaoi after all!
Different personalities often make the perfect partners which can be theoretically odd considering the possibility of personality clashes. However in real life, being different is often compatible in terms of dealing with life and expression of emotions.
I found the interaction of the screenwriter and the amateur actor-imamura to be realistic and believable; the insecurities of being not good enough and the plausible chance that the screenwriter can make it in the entertainment industry when every body is criticizing his life will affect this person self esteem. As a relationship, I found theirs to be plain albeit tender and kind, but it lacks the satisfaction of being a solid relationship because we never understood the attraction. It could be due to the fact that their relationship seems rushed and quite too good to be true even in the wildest dreams
the attraction seemed clear to me ? Well it was subtle but Imamura wanted Sakuragi to be happy, he was worried about him and I think it's enough to start a love. Then Sakuragi was touched by Imamura's honesty and felt at ease with him more than before.... Which is also enough to start a love, their feelings could very well develop from that, (their first night was an act of desire, feelings came after it) I don't know of an attraction that can be understood with only one thing
