2 young lovers [Kaito and Yuriko] wanted to elope and travel the world! Their destination was anywhere across the ocean. That didn’t go as planned! She had to marry somebody who is far richer and more successful than her servant lover. 18 years later, her son Nanimi is left all alone being pawned by his ruthless uncle to not other but Kaito.

This is a very complex story due to the dynamic of events that happened over the course of the storyline, Kaito is possessive and controlling but he has tender moments and Nannimi is a very passive character , a character who accepts every thing and anything. Nanami doesn’t have a goal nor aim in his life, he acts like a small pet. Show him love and he will wage his tail!

I was not fan of this story because we were served a ratatouille of events , you can’t understand when to stunts this and how to comprehend that? Secondary characters were weak with no personalities or emotions.

Didn’t expect it to be engaging. Loved the historical aspect of the Samurai life and code of honor.
Can an accountant-turned Samurai be a respectable Samurai? I din’t know that Samurai had issues with origin of those who wanted to be like them!

I guess, it's like the noble classes in Europe who looked down on tradesmen who earns a title or buys it.

2 lead singers from opposing and rival bands are in love and seeing other whenever they have an opportunity.
Their rival nature is what makes them work harder to suppress the other. However, we see Akira is quite the possessive type who hates the fact that his man is considering a comeback in acting as he tries cunning ways to lure him back to singing.

I actually find this plot weak and I don't understand the reason behind this behaviour other than the fact that it is controlling. Disappointing and dull plot that fails to capture the wild world of music

“Tastefully written”.. if I have to choose a statement to describe this story I would say that the way the story was approached was great and the mangaka should be applauded for taking the time required to produce a manga that has all chapters written with great editing.
The integration between the man who doesn’t want to fall in love and the man who was too friendly was too realistic to be a manga fictional observations! I understand the dilemma! Some men or even women are intrigued with exploring! The problem is that the other end can be invested in that relationship that he would be devastated to build his/her hope and then get crushed emotionally!

However, life is not black and white and our editor shunned himself from ever considering a relationship let alone a friendship with a straight men not knowing that a straight man was the one for him

Too painful to continue reading! It is not my cup of tea to read a baby faced character with a boy’s body to be smooched and harassed by older men! Disgusting

I think the uke might possibly be older or the same age as the two semes as he was the manager of a family diner so he should be at least 18, I'm guessing? The first seme is in his 2nd year of high school and the second seem was in university.

Well, he's older than them but I can understand what your point is. I also don't like lolis for the same reason (even if they are older, is the body of a girl) and its weird and perverted in its own league

If there is a potential for a story, create multiple chapters , invest in characters, show some development but don’t drag delusional characters in a non existence story to sell a manga.

This collection contains 3 stories. The first story is of model enchanted by the continuous gaze of the painter/art student who paints him. They are an interesting couple as they employ the policy of no communications - I assume - because they often jump into conclusion regarding the statue of their relationship.

The second story is narrative of 2 neighbors and school friends , who under the shooting stars share most of their discussions and wishes. It is a one shot and is a Yaoi so you can assume that the ending is typical.

The last story is the best and quite a powerful one. I consider communication between friends, lovers and family friends is essential for every relationship. If you decide not to talk, you risk a dream, an opportunity or even a future with the one you love. Our characters both decided not to pursue their desires because of the uncertainty cloud that could affect their friendship, but, by not pursuing our desires, are we bringing misery to us? Are we detaining ourselves a glimpse of happiness and how will that affect our future?

A collection of one shots that are quite forgettable which is the normative In Yaoi One shots. The First story was annoying and quite childish and some of these uses are too passive and who blush like that anymore? The catch phrases are not bad, but they were cliched nevertheless.
Almost of these stories start with a little teasing where one party acts stronger, but suddenly the beast unleashes in 3 pages. Talk about consistency!

Having a Yakuza as a step brother is such an unnerving situation. Although it is not portrayed Yaoi manga, Yakuza are ruthless organizations , sustainable by committing crimes and spreading chaos. Just like any Yaoi manga, that side is not seen here, we see the leader, as compassionate and quite a nice , albeit possessive sometimes.

The saving gracing about this manga is the dialogue. It is permeated comedy antics. I loved the interaction between them, it is funny and quite engaging to me as a reader! However, i have to point out, that some events [ Spoiler Alerts] had occurred out of the blue, jut like that scene when the host was sleeping and stated feeling hot!! That was unexpected, although I knew it would happen but it was out of place! I wish the mangaka would pace the events accordingly? I think we would have a better manage , then.
Until then, I will be waiting for more
