I'm pretty sure the doll was trying to protect him from the beginning. It saved him from a freak accident and was also blocking the door to the fire cause it knew he would die, the dude just went in anyway. During the last panel, you can even see the doll crying.

It's not like he repeatedly died but died one time after jumping off the building. He thought that by doing that the people around him would feel guilty of their abuse and how much they made him suffer however after his death they all acted as if they were all his friends being genuinely sad and all, so even after his death he tries his best to be "heard" and cared about by making a loud noise by jumping off again and again

Also nobody notices all that pile of bodies because he's basically a spirit/ghost in the end

I see, thank you for explaining. I understand the story now, I was confused at first because he keeps jumping off the building several times, and it baffles me how there are many bodies laying on the ground even when he's the only one who's dying.
