It's just a preference what's weird about it?! Plot isn't the only thing I consider while reading the manga, I pay attention to the characters and art style too. I hardly drop mangas unless it's gruesome so I said "might" cause there's a possibility I wouldn’t feel interested to keep reading it. I don't think the dark haired character would look good as an uke (to me). I've read quite a few BL Manga with muscular uke but this isn't it.

Yeah I also drop certain manga when reading because of the art style but the idea of not reading a certain one just because the uke doesn’t look “good” as one to your standards is weird and feels like you have a certain ideas of what they should and shouldn’t be.

Maybe in real life but not in mangas. Mangas are fantasy. I firmly believe nobody here is stupid enough to compare romantic relationships in manga with real life couples (BL or not). Have you seen any gay couples in real life? Most of them look like twins lol. They go for men similar body types and then style themselves almost the same way, down to the haircut (idk why, just my observation and I'm not saying ALL Gay couples are like that, just the ones I've met. And quite a few heterosexual couples look lile siblings too lol).

Just like I said, your preference in manga is weird too. Go think whatever makes you sleep better at night.

But if you know that not how it is in real life couples then why would you put those ideas on to fantasy situations, because if you think like that with something that is fake, then won’t those same thoughts be used on something real just not said out loud.

Exactly! Have you seen those BL mangas on psychopaths or serial k!llers? I avoid them like plague after reading "Killing Stalking" but do they lack readers though?! I don't go around in the comment sections of those mangas bashing people for liking them.

I totally get you. If someone is uncomfortable I'd suggest try broadening their horizons instead of being stuck in that view. Still if they don't like it they should simply drop it and not comment about dropping due to positions and ruin the atmosphere for others.
