River God Seeks Adoption
Hmm. The pacing is...creative I guess you could say. The story's not too bad, and the concept is fun. A little weirded out by the snake and the pearl, separately and in conjunction. Also the fact that the author got in hot water, that fuckin' sucks. I'll be interested to see how it plays out, if I'm able to keep up, what with the odd pacing
Update, post photo-shoot amnesia: It actually feels like there's a kind of establish through line now, finally. I can follow what's going on much better now that the setup's handled
Yakusoku no Neverland
Coming off the heels of watching the anime - what a tone shift. I really like the direction it's going though and it's world-building is very interesting
My biggest complaint is that everything up to the last few chapters feels very hollow - Oh who's gonna die, the people who haven't even been given names? I really feel sad and scared about that /s. Seeing the massacre of the "demons" is actually a lot more sad know that they've been more fleshed out
Liebling!
Realistically I'm giving this two and a half stars because I? like? some of the concepts it brings up, and there are some genuinely clever twists, but there's just so much rape and murder, I didn't watch GoT for a reason and seeing something similar - to what I'm aware of - isn't really worth the ticket price. I did read it anyway tho lol so feel free to take a pinch of salt with that
I think the interesting concepts are really interesting! Like how to put a soul into a curse to kill two birds with one stone, kind of literally. And the concepts of parent/child soul sharing is interesting as well, even if I don't always think the internal logic is completely sound. Even Leo's twisting and untwisting emotions, which is very very annoying and they both just seem like they're jerking each other around in the early chapters, is explained, which is more than can be said for other manga
There's just....so much rape. So much. The entire thing could practically be classified depending on how Leo's feelings shake out, it's all emotional manipulation and it's just really gross on that front
Erotoro R18
Bai Jiu Nan Chan
There's not much here at all. The art style is very light, but unfortunately so is everything else; characterization, plot structure, chemistry. I don't doubt it could get the ball rolling eventually but this definitely isn't enough to go by
See You Again
Awful people jerking each other around, the series. It's by no means on the level of If You Hate Me That Much because /everyone/ is awful and there doesn't seem to be the one angel that gets the ass-end of everyone's stupid shit, but that's not exactly a redeeming quality lol
Sex Pistols
This got so confusing...
Zettai BL ni Naru Sekai VS Zettai BL ni Naritakunai Otoko
