Sometimes it's hard for me to understand how the mangaka(s) come up with such ideas. It's disturbing. To see the antagonist of the story seemingly taking revenge on perpetrators, but in fact being a perpetrator himself by doing the same to a young man.
It breaks my heart. But i'm also interested in how the readers feel about it. Whether they critically question or hype it. Whether they tolerate and gloss over it or actually denounce it. Is it really elucidation (as some say) or just fetish (considering the explicit scenes and the form of presentation)? I asked myself the same thing with KS. But I'm afraid that I won't get an answer in this century.
Honestly I ask myself the same things sometimes. Some of the manhwas I’ve come across on here have been very questionable. I generally feel like most times, ppl gloss over the fked up things that happen in them bc they perceive it as “shedding light” or “showing things that happen in real life”, when half of the time they’re just fetish-y bs. Sorry for rambling just wanted to share my thoughts as well
Don't be sorry, please. I'm glad you shared your thoughts. I think it's very important to be able to talk about these things in a reflective way. To reflect, in general, is half the battle.

You're reaching, I don't understand how yall can have this much shit to say from just 4 chapters, you guys don't even know anything about their relationship. All I saw here was rough consensual sex, you guys hate seeing the rougher side to things, you have very rough slave/master relationships and then you have soft ones, I personally think this is a mixture of both. But to sit here and compare how the seme treats his uke to how he literally kills PEDOS is very concerning. You have no right to sit here and judge the work of this author just because its not your personal taste, but they clearly did something right cause you clicked this story and read all chapters, on an ILLEGAL SITE, if you were reading on the official site, you'd see where the creator said the TW has nothing to do with the main couple and only stuff that happens in the story.

Hyperventilation is one of my favorite Manhwas. A whole lot is conveyed with just a few images and scenes. And I personally feel the tension between the two characters.
As Teenagers too young to understand what they feel and too shy to approach each other.
It's reminiscent of the tender first great love that you never confessed how you felt to.
That they see each other again after about ten years and still feel the same captivates me.
At that time – before Manhwa – I first came across the DVD with the bonus material (with a cute & surprising special) and I can only recommend it. The voice actors have done a good job and the fluent cuts give the whole thing more depth and room for interpretation. If you are interested in Bboong's thoughts, you can read the Interview with her. I found it super enlightening. All in all, this story tells something really big with few images and I love it. Plus the drawing style is nice to look at.
