What happened to being selfish and living for yourself! Don’t get me wrong I love that he’s fixing up the tower but he’s never gonna live solely for himself.
that is living for himself. he loves that tower. he literally created (?) that little building and organisation.
Not to mention he said for his people too... that would be his tower and his mages... since most of them sacrificed themselves under his leadership for a greater good...
All the characters feel so shallow, especially the Mc. Not only is he acting like the person he supposedly hates the most but we see no growth from him. I feel like scenes that would have been more impactful were skipped or cut short, like the award ceremony.
