She probably loved Tennessee Williams who was one of the best American playwrights of the 20th century (and since this is Hali also happens to be very gay)

There are also plenty of other state names. It may not be as common, but it’s definitely thing. I’m surpised at the number of people hating on his alias / current name
I agree, but I like to think the author had intentionality in choosing this particular name because of that writer. Maybe I’m reading too much into it bit I feel like it adds a deeper flavor to the work :)
