mh also aggree but in my opinion the twisted ones are (meanwhile) also cliche in a darker way. sometimes its just like "make it more twisted/ dark (doesn't matter if it make sence or not). and I think its kinda funny when people ask give me realistic plot- then names like dark heaven appear- dont get me wrong- love this one but in my opinon its dark and not realistic (assasin brother for example)(though they fight with realistic probl. but the story itself is not). for me realistic ones are really rare

The fact a manga treats realistic matters doesnt mean the story is realistic itself, the same goes to character development. A dark story doesnt equals to being realistic either and a actual realistic one is quite rare. To me what makes a story more realistic and enjoyble to is if the characters are human and create a emotional link with me, no matter the genre and plot. And I remark the characters must feel real and the character development congruent. A good one is Only you only.

Realistic mangas are rare but not non-existant! I mean we may not have the same conception of the word "realistic" which is actually quite hard to define but I do have some recommendations that I think you might like if you are searching for a manga that isn't too fluffy or too dark with a shot loads of clichés :)
1. Smells Like Green Spirit (my heart was litterally crushed reading this one. The characters are so real...)
2. Koimonogatari ( I tagged it "too relatable it hurts" so yeah I think this one is pretty realistic)
3. Hate Mate (I personally find the characters detestable but this is what makes this manhwa so interesting. It's very far from well polished bishonen characters)
4. Bokura ga Koi wo Ushinau Riyuu (I don't remember much about this one but I know it was very interesting)
5. Escape Journey (This couple isn't cliché and the manga really deal with the problems that arise when you are in a same-sex relationship. I love this one)
6. Hatsukoi No Atosaki (This one is absolutely one of my favourite. It is bittersweet and I love the characters)
7. Kyuuso Ha Cheese no Yume Omiru (one of my absolute favourite!! This manga is so realistic, it shows perfectly the struggles that one may encounter when facing their sexuality. It is heartbreaking but if you haven't read it yet just go you won't regret it!)

Am I the only one who's annoyed by the false update notifications because wannabe uploaders keep uploading, deleting, uploading and deleting chapters? Like give us en effin break! I know we are all pie rates here, but even pie rates should atleast follow code of ethics. Kindly ask first the original uploaders if they're dropping the manga/hwa/hua before uploading your effin versions! Don't assume they've dropped it just because "they took so long to upload". Girl, we fans can wait for a couple of few more days. Amd these legit translating teams have their own schedule that they follow. Are you playing hero? We don't need it. We'd rather wait for high quality translations by legit uploading groups than some of ya'll second rate trans which are hard to understand because you just used google translate. You're disrespecting the og trans team! Stop uploading chapters over them! Ask first! That's not so hard to do! Seriously!
