Slow burn + character who shouldn’t be able to fall in love!? YUM. Can’t wait for updates
Only a true genius is able to advance the plot this way. Amazing.
I mean it’s nice to just turn off my brain and indulge in mindless junk sometimes. There were some decently lighthearted moments and well drawn panels.
At the same time, I can’t help but feel conflicted about how all the female characters were written though. It left a lot to be desired emotionally.
There were some brief subplots scattered throughout the manga that felt real to the ‘coming of age’ vibe, and while not revolutionary, still provided genuine perspectives that resonated with me. However, these moments were flickering; anything remotely showing potential depth was resolved almost instantly in the next few pages in favour for the next plot device centred around the ML (Now that I’m writing this, I’ve realised I’m lowk too old and seen too much crap now to be enjoying shoujos the way I used to…)
I think one of the stronger developments for Mugi was seeing her navigate her own social life. I think that’s one of the only motivation we see from her that’s not boyfriend centred. That is not to say her struggles in a first time relationship wasn’t just as interesting such as exploring her boundaries and pacing with physical intimacy, finding a common commonground in expressing affection, and discovering her own sense of independence as she enters early adulthood.
But like I said - anything interesting gets resolved instantly in favour for the next thing. Too many subplots not enough depth; many characters were introduced once and used for a singular expository purpose.
Such a touching story with sentiments that a lot of people can relate to. The feeling of abandonment, missing someone, thinking about them, a childhood connection, and not wanting to leave their side when you finally see them,,,
I’d rather kill myself than read another shitty translation. Take that shit down bruh

Wayama has a gnarly sense of humour. I would love to meet them and see what kind of person they are
I would love to see animated Kyouji wiping his tears after Everything.
I would also love watching that final scene of Houjou sensei and his eclectic assistant team or his drawings of his grossly realistic cats. I would actually just love watching every scene.
When or if this gets animated, I hope that it all goes smoothly and that the team cherishes this story properly so it doesn’t insult its prequel.

There’s so many different sub plots but none of them are being progressed or even revisited after a few chapters. It’s getting kind of annoying…
Despite the number of times my stomach lurched at all the gore, I’m so happy to have stuck it out.
Type of shit where imma look at people straight in their eyes and tell them it gets better after 51 chapters
I’m the diamond miner.
I haven’t cried reading a manhwa in so long - and that’s really saying something. So much…so MUCH slop on this website, I started to forget how beautiful this storytelling art form can actually be. This is a treasure and it radiates the aura of a true passion project.
Obviously it’s already very well loved. If this were to be made into a film though, I could see it cementing itself as a classic that remains in everyone’s hearts forever.

For most stories I find it gets really boring and dragged out once the main couple starts dating. However I can’t get enough of these two. I actually think they haven’t interacted enough and that irl dynamic needs to be explored way more!! I really hope there’s another season coming
