Maybe Iruma was drawn to the key because he is also a human and maybe link to his original or maybe he is possibly a descendant of Delkira and having the same impulses as him.
My theory is that Iruma might he part-human and part-demon. His family is part of a secret clan where they are all part-human and part-demon that are linked to Delkira. His parents escaped with young Iruma because their clan leader found out that Iruma has the strongest or closest link to Delkira from observing him during his toddler age. With that problem, his parents are always on the run. They summon Sullivan and "sell" him to protect him their clan leader.
Well that is just my big theory. From just linking him to The Misfits, Iruma might be someone that is part of something bigger in the human world and not just a regular human. And there is great power in him that's just waiting to come out. With proper guidance from the school and his natural human values. He is bound to turn and change the demon world.
