after moving to another country, school became chiller but im also being way too chill rn, literally have a deadline tom and my brain said just fucking sleep ur tired u can cram it later
and i have 3 fucking pendings and my brain is just not turning on danger mode ヽ(`Д´)ノ how do i pressure myself again and lock in, this is seriously a serious issue idk what to do
tbh i do feel tired all the time, but so did i last year and i was getting things done, now i cant even question what im doing cuz im not doing anything
This was happening to me ( still happening) . And I'm telling you this is gonna ruin your marks and will keep only regrets. Telling from personal experience, reduce social media. Read manhwas only at night after completing daily task . Use pomodoro techniques while studying ( 25 mins study, 5 mins break) . In case of sleeping issues , Sleep 6-7 hrs at night and 1 hour in the afternoon. You'll gradually see difference. Also reduce eating sugar and do exercise for atleast 10 mins daily.
If you’re using social media, hide them from your homescreen. If you’re reading manga during this time, don’t start anything new and try to convince yourself that there isn’t anything interesting to read. In my case, I deleted everything I was behind on and put it on „to read“ list so I can reread / catch up later. Also I wrote down chapter I’m on for ones I’m reading rn so I can visualise how many I’ve read and that all of them are up to date / no new chapter are out. If brain doesnt have anything to distract it then the stress comes back from my experience
i've been here before! honestly, there's no perfect exit to procrastination, but that's not something you should beat yourself up about.
let's say you have things that distract you other than mangas!
think, will this benefit me in any way? will this let only worsen my procrastination?
think things over before you start something new. right now, you still have a lot on your plate. engaging in new things is a good thing, but you also have to consider other factors.
instead of putting it off like "it's 6:31 right now, i'll do it at 7." don't check the time! act now, and then let yourself rest.
thing is, if you fixate on "fixing" yourself, you see more bad than good. instead of having a mindset like that, try to do things for your own good rather than thinking you're doing it because it's a flaw of yourself.
you say you just moved countries, and that kins of change could really be overwhelming especially when you have to live with new cultures and unfamiliar environments.
so walk through it with steady steps. there's no rush, just create a pace and maintain it.
here are other tips:
● cut down on easy dopamine rush.
● pomodoro method! highly recommended
● reach out
● track progress (but remember, be consistent and don't over-fixate on details that shake your confidence)
best of luck!
wtf was that fart fx at the last chap LMAOOOO
Ikk, I was giggling when I read that part
