I recommend reading from the very beginning tbh. The internal monologues are never part of the manhwa and it’s honestly a loss to the story (●￣(ｴ)￣●)

I still don’t understand why JJR has not yet been completed? I know the nostalgic feeling because JJR was my first BL series I ever watched since they first released as anime (then I move to manga). More than 10 years, I was hoping they could give clarity for Misaki and Usagi because the other couple already solved their own problem (in my opinion). Yet Misaki has to deal with Usagi Family. I was shocked when Misaki’s brother saw them kissing and stuff, I thought the happy ending was near. Guess I was wrong.
I just hope the author have a good health and happiness, and give a decent ending for Misaki and Usagi. Don’t pull this too long.. I love Misaki and Usagi, I really do love JJR, they’re still my hardcore favorites.. but when will I ever get to see them happy again? A happy ending or the ending they deserve..

My assumption is that it's because only 4 chapters are released a year in Japan. The magazine it's published in gets released quarterly.
There are like 6 more chapters not translated after the one that was posted most recently on this site
I think this is also due to the fact that the original scan team has either disbanded or ceased translating the series. I remember someone from the scan team saying something about it several chapters ago, and that they were the only ones working on the chapters in English. I think they stopped translating chapters since that update, so now it's just up to whoever wants to translate the chapters for us.

I was scrolling the notification without feeling needs to read anything. But then I saw "Cherry Blossoms after winter" updated -> truly make me shock, because I remember correctly this series ended beautifully good that I could sleep in peace. Now I'm seeing the author created/added new seasons makes me feel something is not right. If the new chapter mentioned as "side story" maybe I will read it, but no, it wasn't. It's written as "Season 5" and I don't want to ruined what's in my memory.
then, boom, I feel uneasy so I read some comments here and truly I'm glad that I didn't click to read the new seasons. If the new season bring so much trauma, I don't need it. This series start with wholesome story (less drama, straight forward), not with traumatic events. Maybe the author saw many other BL manhwa used trauma events to escalate the plot and character developments -> but this series doesn't need that (in my opinion). I feel sad that situation happen to the author, but some question in my head brings the curiosity out of me. Hopefully the author get some clarity.
If I can tell you something... Please don't read it. I just read all new chapters because this was one of my favorite manhwas and I'm really sorry to say I'll drop this season completely. I'm going to stay with the wholesome and sweet story we had until season 4 because I think a story like this doesn't need unnecessary drama
